When I was younger, then there was presents under the tree. These days, I only gets presents from my parents, sister and gf which are never wrapped and put under the tree. Clothes from my parents, maybe a shirt or something from my sister and whatever I want from my gf.
And rest assured, there will be a lot of kissing this year

i was really surprised at the speed and sharpness of the nikor and how it interacted with the polariser...that plus the vr on that lens....really blew me away......lens lust....arghhhh!!! gotta go buy lottery now...bye!!!

I don't think I can make it this weekend man. Next weekend is Christmas. Then it's New Year, then it's Chinese New Year. Dang... weekends are my busiest times. We should meet on weekdays or something.
I'm driving back to Perak after work at about 4pm. Gotta get back and check on the dogs, me moms in Australia and the dogs are lonely or something. Can't have em dying of a broken heart you know...

but here's how i kinda rationalise with the whole episode:
1. i'll definitely upgrade my dseventy in time to come, that's a given, very likely to another nikon
2. the lens i acquire now will definitely be usable in the upgraded system
3. if i were to acquire the sigma, tamron etc on impulse *just coz of the slight savings* now, it'll be pretty diff to sell it off when i wanna change it over to a nikkor lens
4. i wud loose out 2 ways, on the trade in/upgrade of the camera as well as the lens
other alternative wud be to go look for a cheaper hobby
