You want all these too?

i am pretty sure there is a limit to the size of the mmc card allowed. i think it is 128 mb, which means using 2 1GB cards would be impossible.

not definate but worth consderring.

hope that helps your verdicts.

Posted by djkizlive
I've just been reading some reviews for this MP3 player and none of them seem to mention a limit. Do you have a link to a site that can prove this?

Seeing as though there isn't much difference between a 128MB card and a 256MB card, besides the physical space on it, i don't see why it wouldn't work.

Unfortunately i don't have any cards >128MB to try in it, so i can't confirm it.

Here's a review i found for it:

"This MP3 player is incredibly slim and light, and I would almost consider it a piece of jewelery!! It looks very special, and far more expensive than it is or feels. The sound quality is good and could rival most other MP3 players. The software is a little basic, but there is plenty of shareware/freware you can download from the net so it doesn't really matter. The manufacturers fail to point out that it is actually compatible with Macs, you must download the software (less than 300k!) from their website. The build quality is fairly lightweight too, although you can expect that. Nothing feels like it's about to snap off or anything. Also, I have found the earphones to be unusually well fitting. My only complaint with this little beauty is that all those lovely shiney surfaces (pearl finish front, with a mirrored blue diamond shape) shows the fingermarks like hell!!"

If you wanted to get rid of your 160gb HDD and the MP3 player I could give you £50 and £5 PaP.
That way you get rid of 2 things at once

Posted by djkizlive
Which works out as £20 for the player, and £30 for the HDD. Sorry that's too low i'm afraid.

Thanks for the offer though.

Hmm, it looks interesting, but i only have one sim card, so it doesn't really seem to be that useful.

Did you find out whether the mp3 player would take more than a 128Mb SD card at all?

I might be interested (although my money's a bit tight at the moment)

Posted by djkizlive
@Sammy,

I didn't find out i'm afraid. If someone would be kind enough to lend me a 256MB MMC/SD Card, i'd be more than happy to try it

@jagger2k

Paying a deposit is more than welcome, however, i can't accept payment via paypal i'm afraid.

@The rest

Thanks for your interest & offers. If you want to make a deposit on this, i don't have a problem with that. Please PM me for further details on this.

Still available for £20 delivered, snap it up quick!

Cheers.

Couple more questions for you - does the rechargeable battery go inside the mp3 player, or do you have to put it in that attachable battery holder - i.e. does that holder have to be attached for the mp3 player to work?

Secondly, would it work with the itunes software, and does it support AAC files or is it mp3 only?

What kind of deposit would you be after, and would you accept £15 for it?

Sammy_boy:

Thanks for your interest.

Yes the rechargeable battery goes inside the player. The attachment is just for use with a normal AA battery, should the rechargeable battery be flat.

I can't say if it's compatible with iTunes - i've never tried it to be honest. I doubt it though, they must have integrated some protection in the software to prevent you from using it with other players. I doubt it plays AAC files as it's a hardware MP3 player.

I'd want a desposit of 25% of the full asking price.

If you have any further questions, get back to me

Cheers.
