luckly that you dun have to pay for the upgrade. I paid for it but i think it is worth it, cos my phone software is really old, it works faster after the upgrade.

Btw, klo mo upgrade bisa dibawa ke service centrenya SE di seluruh Indonesia, klo ga salah di jkt ada di roxy, slipi jaya, n cempaka mas. Selama msh garansi, upgradenya gratis, klo garansinya dah expire kudu bayar Rp.50000 (kecuali klo u lg hoki ky gw).
Fungsinya?? Klo kata org sih macem2,,, ada yg bilang menunya lbh cepet, trus WAPnya jadi lbh keren, BT improvement, malah di europe ada yg dapet games baru. Tp sampe skrg sih gw blon ngerasa ada perbedaan apa2 tuh ama T68i gw...

Yes I feel lucky for that, how much do you pay for the upgrade?
Are you still using T68i now? What is your latest software? Coz I don't recognize any improvement between R5C001 to R8A015.
One set of computer screwdriver cost Rp.138000, but maybe can get cheaper on some places coz in TA I only found one hardware shop. Will try to find later.

Di semua SE, upgrade bayar 50.000 untuk yang garansi habis atau yang BM.
Yang pasti T68i gua dulu terakhir R7A, and its very fast.... sekarang gua pake T610.
Setau gua lu bisa upgrade di Roxymas lebih murah. dulu koko gua upgrade T68i cuma 20.000. Tokonya dilantai dasar. Rame banget tokonya, lu bisa upgrade HP apa aja termasuk SE dan nokia .

saw the prototype of se k700 at roxy, very nice... se people don't know when they are coming out. the current price for a black t630 is around USD 300 comes with a free se phone case...dang i should have wait for the price to drop and get the free case too...oh well.....

tapi akhir2 ini saya make im3 dan koneksinya termasuk stabil,meskipun kadang-kadang sama sekali tidak bisa diakses.
untuk kecepatannya, yah lumayanlah
setau saya, untuk GPRS, IM3 merupakan provider terbaik..
mungkin karena IM3 yg jadi pelopor kali ya...

5. SE's best loud-speaker: S700i .. it's loud enough, tapi ga distorted kayak K750i, P900i, dan P910i.
6. SE's most disappointing loud-speaker: K700i! kecil banget gitu suaranya... ga ada nyaring2nya kecuali kalo nerima telepon..
7. SE's most satisfying earpiece: Z600 R6L!! -> jelas dan keras banget..
8. SE's brigthest display ever: the one and only SE's TFD screen phone Z600
9. hp SE yang pertama kali gue punya: T310... 256 warna yang jelek.
10. hp2 SE yang paling berkesan: Z600, S700i
11. hp SE yang gue punya paling lama: Z600... hihihi.. dah 2 taun masih gue simpen..

Salam kenal semuanya... Wah ternyata ada Indonesian corner juga di Esato.
But anyway, any news about when will we get the W550/600 here? I madly fell in love with the 550/600 the first time I tried my dad's W800... Why? Because I don't need 512 MB and the 2MP camera. I just need a somewhat moderate phone with a good multimedia capability, and if all of the info is correct (W550i just a trimmed down W800) I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The earphone is great, and the W550 just looked "funky".
My plan is actually to buy two W550, one for me and one for my lovely wife, but the young lady wants K750 instead... Dang, just when I thought we can have a stroll at Plaza Senayan and look young for a change (damn it! I'm 25... But I'm already going bald, so I look old)
Just like our family loves Honda (dad, sis, bro, me, drives one... Mom traitor...), We all also use Sony Ericsson phone... Except currently I don't use one, and mom like always, the black sheep in the family.

Well, I like the "funky" design of the new W550i first of all... And I would like the MP3 functionality of the W series. Yes I know some has converted the K750 firmware to the W800 one, but it just didn't feel the same you know. Plus, SE stated on the W550i press release, it will be shipped with some top of the line games.
I love SE, it's definitely different than the utilitarian but style blind Nokia.

BTW, ada yang baca koran Media Indonesia kemarin gak? (edisi tanggal 15 September 2005), di rubrik Teknologi, kolom Ponsel Baru ada dibahas Sony Ericsson W800i. Nyebelin banget tuh penulisnya. Masa ada kalimat seperti ini di tulisannya: "... Sayang tidak ada dukungan transfer data nirkabel memakai Bluetooth. Ponsel ini hanya memiliki port inframerah saja"
Bego banget kan yang nulis? Padahal semua juga tahu kalo W800i itu udah ada bluetooth.
Langsung aja gue kirim email ke Media Indonesia buat protes isi tulisan itu. Tahu deh bakal ditanggapin apa nggak sama mereka. Yang penting gue udah nyampein kalau mereka salah total. Gitu deh...

Menurut gue suara speakerphone K750i juga bagus, sekelas W800i mustinya... hardware-nya sama kan?

Menurut gue sih cukup oke kualitas speakerphone-nya.

Menurut gue S700i itu kameranya terbaik dibanding semua produk SE yang ada saat ini, meskipun ketajamannya hanya 1.3Mpixel. Karena S700i menggunakan lensa Carl Zeiss.
17. SE's best battery: W800i
Menurut saya rasanya ini berlaku juga untuk K750i.
18. SE's most comfortable keypad: K700i
Menurut saya kurang ah... sebab lengket2 sedikit gitu.
20. SE's best reception: W800i
Menurut saya penerimaan sinyal yang terbaik tuh S700i. Saya alami sendiri S700i masih mampu menerima sinyal di lokasi di mana ponsel2 SE lainnya sudah tidak mampu menerima.
28. SE's best screen glass: S700i
Menurut saya kualitas kaca layar K750i / W800i yang terbaik, karena menggunakan bahan yang tahan goresan.

Kalo soal make HP, pertama aku make hp merk Alcatel tahun '95, waktu itu satu paket sama XL, abis itu tahun '96 aku ganti dengan AMPS dari Komselindo, pake hp merk ERICSSON, type nya lupa, kayanya sih kalo gak LHxxx mungkin LXxxx gitu deh... abis itu tahun 97 ganti ke GSM dengan operator Satelindo pake HP merk Ericsson canybar, typenya lupa mungkin GHxxx gitu deh...
Sekarang semua hp itu udah gak ada kecuali seperti yang tertulis di siganture aja. Di signature itu juga aku tulis yang inget-inget aja karena beberapa lainnya bener-bener lupa.
PS: posting aku sebelum ini mengomentari signature-nya Cenfi yang "akhirnya" diganti juga, bukan mau nunjukin signature aku kok, hehehe...
