But squash is the sport to play if you want exercise. Or Fencing. But squash is more fun!

Forget to mention any sport that allows you to hurt other players :-D

I used to play karate, now just do some exercises. Currently I play Tennis, Table Tennis, Wall/Rock/Mountain climbing, and badminton once in a while.

What do we classify sport as? Sumthiog we can compete in? Exercise? My definition is that sumthing that gets the full of potenial using ur body
Posted by blackspot
I always consider sports as any physical activity that is competitive in nature and follows certain set of rules. Some people may join Sports not for the actual competition but mainly for the exercise, that's why there are gyms that offer and promote Sports activities as a form of exercise.

Well, badminton is the lateness fitness craze in the Philippines. Lots of players go into badminton to "lose weight."
It's an excellent cardiovascular workout, and coupled with a properly managed diet, can really help you lose weight. And there's a lot of difference with backyard badminton and the real thing.
By the way, I have managed to play badminton with a couple of people I met in Esato.

Am i the only one that hates badminton?
Posted by blackspot
@Future, just curious about your weightlifting, what's your weight and what's the heaviest weight you have carried overhead?
Posted by Davo_169
is ten pin bowling classed as a sport,
because my arm is F***ED after throwing the ball 40 times at 30+kph
and it builds up your triceps wickedly
Posted by FutureDesign
@blackspot i am just starting, couple weights (5kgs both arms) working on the arms and will start progessing further and also develop my shoulder.:-) so im just a beginner
Posted by blackspot
@Future, that's cool, I also do weight lifting but just to maintain my shape not for competition.
@davo, yup bowling is indeed a sports activity and I forgot to mention that I love bowling too though I'm not really that good.
