Yes.. that and the Nokia 6210 was indeed what first popped up in my head.
Mind you, the question was best phone Not quasi camera/mp3 player/PDA/egg-boiler/what have you

@aff
There have been numerous threads similar to this one, you should be able to find some by using the search.
I will say, however, that the best mobile phone ever is the one you like best.

T610, small, classy, cam, wap, colour screen, classy metal case. The fact that it is the worlds best selling phone says it all.. Just my opinion 8)

This discussion will never end. Each of us has his own 'best phone'. Since we have different needs and taste, our idea of what is the best would be different from the next guy/gal.

T230 'cause thats my first phone.

To me, it's the Z600. It's based on the t610, but has far better screen, very low SAR-values and clamshell which makes it very handy and convenient to use instead of keylock:-)
Posted by whizkidd
Dunno why but i've always been inconvinient using clamshells!

I also agree with the inconvenience of both key lock/unlock and clamshells. I'd prefer phones with active flip covers.

Nokia 3310, 3315 and 3330's are the best phones in the way of, phone and sms.
Not many features compared to our phones now. But they last a long long long time.
Best phone with all the whizzbang features. Z1010

The 3315 and the 2100 are the most commonly used phones here in india. Even now they sell like anything! The 3315 is the first phone for a majority of indians.

In what category does it have to be best?
Sales? Survival in the market? Features?
Posted by whizkidd
Thats for you to decide! What you feel good is good for you!

3310 and 3315 simply easy to use. Abit bulky tho:-l

Me too... don't like clam shell...
When I first saw T610 in a local magazine (still as "coming soon" item, frankly I don't like the look, but when I went to a local phone store and saw T610 "in real", I bought it without any doubt. So for me, T610 is still the best phone ever...

Was the t68 the best phone? Of its time?

@whiz
Did you trade in your T230 for an N-Gage? (Is it a QD by the way.) I thought you have 2 phones now.
