i wasnt gonna get involved in this one... but here it is...
it started as 'the sign of the devil' and thats only because Heavy Metal music used this hand sign, and Heavy Metal i guess was 'satanic', so they used the sign of the devil... but more recently, the more people have been using it, the more it has lost its original meaning, and now people use the sign all the time... they mean "cool" or "alright, yes!" or other ' cool ' things by using this sign... more commenly known as the ' rock on ' sign.

As blackspot pointed out Heavy metal bands do use that sign because it is the sign of the devil and it is so widely used now that it is considered normal and acceptable...what next swastikas??

Just for info the quote i saw that went along with the pic of the Bush' making that sign said it had nothing to do with satan or rock bands they did it at a rally or something at a college whose football team are known as the bulls or something and its the horns of the bull.
