On Friday 21st January I will be hosting, and participating in, the Esato Challenge! The challenge will consist of all participants trying to post on Esato, in this thread, at least once every 15 minutes for 24 hours. Pointless? Very much so, but why not?

Oooh bummer, I want to join but I'm sure I can't keep up with the minimum 15 minute interval for an entire 24 hours, travelling from my office to home takes at least an hour already.

I think it's not a good idea.. you just 'flood' esato for .. nothing...
It's imposible to stay online for 24 hours...
But you can cheat (if you have a non-stop internet on your pc) by sending info an certain periods (for eg: with mIRC timer comand
).
But that's my personal opinion

It is really just meant as a spot of fun, it isn't the Olympics, there won't be random drugs testing! All participants will be assumed not to be cheating.
As for clogging the server, I would point you towards most of the threads created each day, which ask repeated questions, contain tosh, etc. A bit of fun that seems to be interesting more than a few members doesn't seem like a waste of bandwidth to me.

According to Eastcoaststar all participants should have made a total of ninety-six posts if they are successful.

I dont think this challenge is exciting.Just think of it,you have to be in front of a pc or with a cellphone for 24 hours (yeah the charger gotta come in sometime).Just say your family or friends visits you on the challenge day,are you gonna post while you have company?Or your parents may get irritated to see you the whole day in front of a pc or phone. :-(
