My SE V800 supports them... so i presume some of the other new SE phones do to..

i don't have any other phone to test compatability.

Z200 supports mmf

Now that we´re talking about MMF tones, does any1 know how to convert them to mp3 or any other compatible format?

What does mmf mean? Multimedia format?

I have a small program that may "unprotect" the mmf files. If anyone wants to test it they are welcome to. Give me your email and i will send it.

mmf or midi for that matter cannot be converted to music formats like mp3,wav etc coz they are not real music...just intructions for playing a set of predefined instruments...as you may have seen if you have musicdj on se phones which lets you create tones usin 4 instruments.

I disagree, midi to wav is very easy since software MIDI generators are very common nowadays and many software has that feature, in fact some of my ringtones are from midi and I converted them to wav then to mp3 for my k700i. Wav to midi however is a totally different story.

mmf on the other hand is different. midi or a very short wav can be converted to mmf but I haven't seen any application that can do it the other way around.

Agreed with black spot. Wav to mid convertion is difficult. I got a ring tone convertor that converts wav to mid. There is something to do with channels which is very difficult to get right.
