Hi,
I have my Nokia 9500 Communicator since last thursday.
I can't find a solution in the manual if the phone can/can't vibrate...
Does it not vibrate because of the configuration of the preinstalled melodies or can it simply not vibrate because of hardware-reasons?
Btw, it's a wonderful phone, believe me.
I know, I know, everybody tells you it's a brick, but how many have really tried it? Nobody will denie the phone is bigger than a regular phone, but isn't it normal?
I've tried a P910 this weekend and am very glad I've chosen for the Communicator, although I'm a Nokia-hater and a SE-believer (I had previously a SE T68i, a Z600 and a S700...

I've heard none of the communicator series vibrate. The problem with 9500 its hardly a "MOBILE" phone imo.

The 9500 is about the size of the P910 with open flip. Pretty large. Reminds me of Stonehenge. How do you carry it?

I have no problem with carrying it.
As I had some problems to find a leather case in Belgium, So I still keep it in the pocket of my trousers or jacket. Which is no problem at all, I don't even feel it when I walk.
The problem is the phone has just been released and shops don't have the case and phone yet (and will probably never have it because only a few will buy this phone). So i'll have to buy it over the internet.
It's a pitty the phone wont vibrate. Nokia makes the mistake t think this phone is only used on a desk, it still should be a mobile phone.
However, the excellent soundquality maybe makes it unneeded to have the phone vibrating...
