I've seen on a lot of websites that you can unlock a samsung d500 without any cables. I'm thinking of buy it on orange and would like to unlock it. How will i go about this? And does these codes generated from IMEI numbers actually work? Where is the menu to enter the code in?

i wasnt aware that that code was still in operation! i tired it on a few E800s and E700s and it didnt do a bean?
i dont suppose you know if the *7337*full* still works or whatever it was?

This code does not work on all the D500... depends on the software version it may not work!!!

i ve try it on a couple of phones and nothing happens,i ve heard some people say it screws up their phone,but i m not sure if that is true may be someone hear can comfirm that

it only worked on early software versions.
other than that you need a clip to do it, you can pick them up for like £15...
