K700i middle chassis - Esato archive

Hi, has anyone ever tried or has replaced the middle chassis of a SE k700i? Its where the PCB, connectors, etc... is screwed on. I would like to know if anyone were successful in replacing it by themselves? Or did a mobile store did the job for you?

well i saw an inbrief operation of my phone so I can just tell you that its quite simple to replace the chassis..But I would still trust a technician to do the job..As if he screws up he going to pay..!
What is it that you want to change..Maybe I can help you with some pointers..!

That certainly is a relief, thanks for taking the time to tell me that. I just want to have the middle chassis of my k700i replaced because its badly scratched and its bothering me. I don't mind buying a full housing just to have my middle chassis replaced. My face plate and back cover is ok, its only the middle part/chassis that has been badly scratched and has several nicks. Please advise.
