what ones best?

Posted by methylated_spirit
In what respect? Price? Quality? Distance from you? Each one has its advantages, its a silly question.

Posted by jeko.uk
price and quality

Posted by methylated_spirit
Price, Asda. Quality, probably Morrisons

Posted by jeko.uk
what about sainsburys and tesco"s

Posted by mince-inside
Investment - Tesco
Totty on the tills - Sainsburys

Posted by jeko.uk
sainsburys are getting cheaper but to little to late

Posted by harryville
ICA or Coop is pretty good here but for value - City Gross!!

Posted by jeko.uk
costcutters is the worst

Posted by methylated_spirit
Cant beat Presto or Food Giant!

Posted by jeko.uk
sainsburys are slowly dying

Posted by methylated_spirit
Yeah its a shame they cant keep up with Farmfoods, they are just taking over!

Posted by jeko.uk
in about 5 years or so i think asda"s will have taken
over every supermarket

Posted by methylated_spirit
I dont know, Morrisons just bought safeway, that puts them in a very strong position, and Tesco are bigger than Asda at the moment too. Mind you, Walmart just bought Asda. Whatever happens, it can only be good for us consumers, healthy competition means cheaper prices.

Ahh, but what about Lidl or Aldi? Perhaps we'll all soon be under the jackboot of the Scandinavian budget supermarkets

Posted by jeko.uk
my local sainsbury"s has got a good deal on at the moment
sony 28 inch flatscreen with dvd player and vcr
for £500

Posted by methylated_spirit
I can see most of the smaller chains going the same way as Kwiksave and Shoprite, as the bigger chains slash prices to compete with each other

Posted by jeko.uk
so were do the ppl of esato shop?

Posted by methylated_spirit
Thats pretty good, for sony stuff!

Posted by jeko.uk
looks good to its in silver and with stand

Posted by methylated_spirit
I shop wherever is most convenient at the time, it really doesnt bother me. All the different foods are grown or come from the same places anyway

Posted by jeko.uk
supermarkets are gonna start selling everything soon

Posted by scotsboyuk
I don't use supermarkets, although I do buy the occasional sandwich or box of sushi from Marks and Sparks.

Posted by jeko.uk
so were do u shop

Posted by scotsboyuk
I don't personally buy food, except for a few bits and pieces that I like myself, but we mostly shop at smaller shops e.g. butchers, fishmongers, cheesemongers, etc.

LOL

Farmfood's staff are quite lousey in my store,
they give the impression that they've got a attitude :-/

Back in Utah, it has to be Wal-Mart. I could go in there, buy 4 tires for the truck, a hunting rifle(no shells), some sports equipment, my weeks groceries, and a fishing hat. Back in Uk, I still shop in Asda-walmart, but not for tires.

Posted by jeko.uk
i think sainsburys have the best staff

Posted by Miss UK
Tesco prob is anuv shop thats friendley to it's customers, nasty bums to there staff tho.. I can't believe I worked there once upon a time

@ ijefferies
Lol, so you get the rest of the stuff over here too? Rifles and fishing gear? Just no tyres?

Nick

Safeway - for US and Canada (where my relative works, VP position)
Talipapa/Palengke - for Manila based members!
