About 99% of Esato revolves around BT and BT headsets !
i cannot imagine using a high end phone without BT

hi, and welcome to esato.
yes i think bluetooth is used alot. I use it to connect to my laptop as a modem and it is useful to transfer files from phone2phone or phone2pc.
and of course there is the infamous "bluejacking" craze.

bluetooth is a standardized tool for sharing info between any device. so that's what makes it so universal. and appealing.
yes, there are drawbacks, but it's definitely a huuuge step over ir. it used to be a gimmick earlier... but now it's definitely caught on!! and has become part and parcel of any mobile device worth its salt.(or blueberries

bt is the most use feature of my phone. I use for headphones,dial up connection to my pocket and note.I can't imagine browsing of web without blue tooth. bt is :cool:
