I just got my K700i 2 days ago. i was bought on Orange PAYG and then unblocked to any network, I am now using o2 PAYG.
I can recieve things no problem via the bluetooth but i havent been able to send anything before and after the Network Unlock.
When i try to send something it doe sthe "searching", Finds the device and then Come up "connecting" at this point the bar keeps going up but nothing at all happens, it just stays like that untill i switch the phone off.
I have read about updating Firmware, but i dont have a Sync staion or data cable. so im not sure how i would be able to update the firmware.
My firmware version is. R2C001
Could this be my problem.

@wi11ie
This certainly sounds like a firmware issue, the K700 seems to have some a fault in its Bluetooth in earlier firmware releases. I would recommend that you have your K700 flashed at your nearest SE service centre if you are unable to perform the update yourself.
If the problem turns out to be a fault with the the Bluetooth hardware itself then you should be able to have your K700 replaced under warranty.

@willie, mj:
what firmware version do u have on ur phone?

The Firmware version is R2C001
If i get it flashed and it still doesnt work, will the orange shop be able to tell what ive done to it. Cos my warranty is void because i got the network unlocked

They certainly could know if they checked; it's in the service menu. But they may not check or care.

Ok, Im getting it done 2morrow In CPW.
So what is the best one to get and will they know this.
I think i would prefer Unbranded cos i have the sim unlocked but is that ok, or do i keep it branded (orange)
