we in UK are on "British summer time = +1hr" which has an efect on this forum in a strange way, i think it shows MY time to me but normal time to YOU, so if i just ad a post. its correct, but if i quote from a post it copies what i see on my screen, which is the correct time for ME in UK.
Since one of our wars, we have been using GMT in the winter but GMT+1hr(british summertime) in summer. it changes forward in March & backwards in October. Its completely stupid & pointless.
Other silly things,
In UK law if a horse runs into your car its the car drivers fault,because of an unchanged law from a hundred yrs ago, horses have the right of way,
Also a tiny sailing craft has right of way over an oil tanker.
