Can someone please tell me what I need to buy to be able to do this?
(Obviously, I have the phone and the PC already...)
Thanks.

You need bluetooth dongle or 'usb bluetooth adapter'. All the software you get together with it. There are many brands, mine experiences with MSI dongles are positive.

Thanks Lynx69.
Will I be able to transfer MP3 files from my PC to my phone using this?

Yep

You will be able to send many things; pictures, ringtones, mp3 files, video files, games.

Bluetooth, because it has bout 10 meters range, and you don't have to align devices like with IR. In my experience BT is also much faster than IR.

:b: is faster than irda, and doesn't require line of sight, so your connectio won't be broken if you or someone else jostles the phone or picks it up. Otoh, :b: can be tizzicky about keeping the connection open. (At least w/my belkin domgle, but I did put it through the washibg machine once... :ta:

and from my experience i found easier to set up than infra red.

But now i have a dongle, i have no issues with it and was easy to set up so i find it better than infra red.

goes for the Belkin 100m.
It is only USD$4 more than the 10m .

Very positive result and is HID supported.
