im using a US PSN id too...but no lag whatsoever ...COD4 online multiplayer is soooo much fun..i managed to rank up to Lance Corporal in an hours time....and I think im gonna be spending all of tomorrow in fornt of my TV
Got MOH: Airborne too....Multiplayer mode is not as great as COD4...

About lag in online..IMO it isn't because of what region your id belongs to..its basically your connection..i've had matches in RFOM with people from US, AUS, Japan..on a 256k connection..experienced lag sometimes..upgraded to 512..no lags since
@shyam..Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway..playable between PC-PS3..coming June '08..simultaneous multiplayer on all platforms..thats a dream..

COD4 MP cross-platform would be fun....btw @deepsme...are there any options to select MP server like US, Europe, etc......When I click "Find Game" It just llists modes like Team Deathmatch, Mercenary Team DM & Free-for- all....rest are greyed out..i guess unlocked after reaching some particular XP score.

@dt cod4 doesn't have CP multiplayer..
@mrao..can't help much because i don't have it on ps3 ..but try looking for join a lobby in multiplayer mode..then you can play games with players from specific regions..like asia, europe or US..perhaps then you'd be connected to a region specific server..

@mrao,i dont think the option is there to select a particular server..i mostly play with people from japan,aus,nl,middle east and sometimes from europe and us.
As u rise above in the rank,those grey are unlocked..most people are into ground war imo. u will love the weapons and the perks...check the barrack for the challenges too.

Trouble installing latest ps3 update
tried downloading twice via ps3 and something went wrong...
downloaded via pc and now it says corrupted data on the ps3 ...WTF??

I've just downloaded the 2.30 update to my HDD....yet to run it on the PS3 as still at work ... yup...I guess the issues thuggie faced must've been because of too many people updating at the same time...lemme try it tonight and i'll keep you guys posted.

I was again on fire last night 3-4 choppers,5-6 air strikes,8-9 uav calls and 2 10+ kill streaks...and completed 9 challenges!!
the funniest was "cruelty" challenge...kill an enemy,take his weapon and when he re spawns,kill him again with his weapon

level 55...after reaching this level,i thought prestige mode will open up...but all i get is a gold plated pistol and no more points for the game i play.

Hey thuggie...Yup it sure was fun..... btw....a strange thing happened last night.... I was in one of these Mercenary Team Deathmatches and was Gunnery Sergeant 1...and while moving around I accidentally fell into some kind of a hidden basement in one of the houses, and got the message " Basement Challenge completed" and got promoted straight to Master Sergeant, jumping one rank..
Im beginning to like the Ground Wars mode now....but not on all maps....I prefr the urban setting maps.....and that airbase map

Did the update and played prestige mode...feel like a noob with low end weapons and all...all good weapons and perks are locked...became lance corporal lvl 6 ...and opened up custom built weapons and basic challenges.
