Posted by Pradhika

Posted by govigov
Welcome to airtel. The place where service really sucks! Then we got the owner of the site to give us access, then we were rocking again.

Posted by vineet_d

Good afternoon, brothers and sisters from India! I know, I'm not Indian, I'm from the Philippines. But the Indian thread is so amusing that I find myself spending a lot of time here.

I have always wondered why everyone in the Indian thread posts in English. Is it because a dialect from one Indian region cannot be understood in another? Anyway, I find it to my advantage, since I can follow your conversations.

Pradhika speaks funky English. She is perhaps equalled only by our very own JN when it comes to utter joyful disregard to mainstream grammar. Rock on, both!

And heaven forbid that anyone tells Pradhika what wtf means. Let no one spoil her innocence.

All the best,
Chili

Install blue tooth drivers, the SE site has the bluetooth modem driver, install bluetooth modem, then go to network connections, create new. (You will know what to do next. )

Hey chili thanks for droppin by!

Posted by vineet_d
Hey chili thanks for posting here dude. Welcome to our wonderful community.

Posted by govigov
Welcome chilli. Enjoy!

Posted by chili
@govi, @whiz, @vineet, Thanks! I thought my post was going to be recommended for deletion because I'm not Indian

Anyone care to answer my question earlier, on why English seems to be the default language in this thread?

In the Philippine threads, Tagalog is used about half the time. And a little of the other, more obscure dialects when one wants to swear with impunity

Simple! We all understand english here! There are too many local languages here which may create compatibility problems. :-D

Posted by govigov
@chilli, We got over 25 languages in india. If we all start talking, you can guess what will happen. Our ex president speaks 14 languages.

Posted by chili
@whiz, @govi -- So my guess was right. 14 languages?!?

Posted by jadeparfait
Hi chilli welcm aboard here. Btw which region r u frm ? visayas or metromanila or ? :-)

Posted by whizkidd
Govi? which president was that?

Posted by govigov
P . V. Narasimha rao (i think.) Whiz, whats for lunch?

Posted by whizkidd
He was our prime minister jackass!

Posted by chili
@jadeparfait
Metro Manila. Have you been here to the Philippines?

This is totally unrelated to SE or mobile phones but... I think I want to turn lactovegetarian. Indian cuisine is, I hear, as good as any when it comes to meat-free dishes. There is a Sikh community near where I work and sometimes I think about approaching them just to learn more about their culture. I've always been fascinated by the Indian heritage.

Posted by govigov
Whiz, Oh! :-D

Posted by whizkidd
It would be better if you approach us instead. You will get the kind of knowledge about indian heritage no one this side of the sun could enrich you with! Hmmm... Its time for my music class part 2!

Posted by govigov
No wonder my ear is hurting so much! @chilli, fire away your questions. (Well all seems to be having lunch at the moment.)

Posted by vineet_d
I had my lunch a few minutes back I had dal fry with chapatis + orange juce

Posted by govigov
Vin, whats your wifey's speciality food?

Posted by k4m!k4ze
whoa ! it seems like somebody let loose a bunch of clowns in this thread P.V Narasimha Rao president ?

wtf ?

@chilli - we have another thread where only hindi is spoken "Indian Bhai (Brother) Log (people) thread "

@vin - it will be quite slow if you use the phone as BT modem

Posted by chili
@gov, vineet, kamikaze, whiz -- According to the #Hashbang Global Time installed in my K700i, it's a quarter of an hour before 3pm in New Delhi... You guys eat lunch this late? We Filipinos eat ours usually at 12 noon, sometimes as early as 11 a.m. A 1 p.m. lunch is considered late. What're you having for lunch, mates? (If they're local dishes, translate to English please, he he!!! ) Are you vegetarians?

Most of the Indians who live here in the Philippines wear turbans. They're Sikhs, right?

Posted by vineet_d
Govi - .....humm.......let me think......... dont know..never asked her

kllr - ya dude, but i am unable to surf...it says connected but no data transfer.

Posted by whizkidd

Posted by franchet
Kumarakom That a good place too - you can try my suggestion there too.

Posted by vineet_d

Posted by franchet
Right guys I'm off for the week . I'll be back on 24th . Till then have a great time and keep rocking

Posted by whizkidd
Its by the lake. But you will feEL its a sea. Its BIG! ITS ABOUT 60 Kms from Cochin. Less than two hours by road from cochin.

Posted by k4m!k4ze
@vin - dude there's basically nothing to see here in coimbatore except me of course , Ooty is exceptional but since your married by that time, all you can enjoy is the scenery

Posted by govigov
Vin, alleppy is nice. Very good beaches and house boats too. Spend a night in the house boat. And you can also club koorg and ooty. If you are religious, have a stay at kollur. P.s if you have a car, i suggest you drive.

Posted by plasmadog
Vin, go to masinagudi. its some 15 km from ooty. Its pretty idyllic and no Way as crowded as ooty.

Posted by govigov
yercaud too is good. Right plasma?
