i would be very happy just because eldar said the pc recognizes it immedietly and it acts as a usb key, which wasn't possible with the old ones as the speed was veeeeeeeeery slow, heck what's the use of 64mb in p910 and 100mb in this one if it takes one hour and 30 minutes to fill it up in the p910?

I tried to piece together from everything i could find about Clara and I took the pieces and put them together, this is the best and closest I could do to make it look close to the one in the picture, so... may be it looked kinda like this?

I'm staring at my J70 connector and their not the same. I trust Eldar is correct and think the phone isn't that bad. I expect the final product to look a little better and the matterials to feel expensive.
I definately don't like that 2 button I'm sure there is a way to avoid that.

I've been told the connectors of future models won't be the same as the current one that is used. So, I believe that the pic of the connector shown is real. Count the golden pins.... This one seems to have an extra one. I believe its real. But hey, that's just me.
If its true, this is my dream phone. The only reason I didn't get the K700 was because of lack of external mem and a crappy cam

I hope that there will be a new connector for headsets! A traditional jack connector would be nice to be able to use original high-quality Sony earphones instead of expensive
headsets what has rigid cord and break in a month.

I really wish that they improve the battery life. Having a phone with tons of features, but which you cannot always use because of battery is really annoying.
That problem must be fixed somehow (maybe make use of solar cells on the back of the phone to recharge during day?!)

K700i has really bad battery life. Only a 750 -> 900 mAh battery replacement won't be enough..
Hopefully something else will be improved as well!

can we please soon get over the usual "k700" has poor batterylife nonsense. This is all nonsense based on roumors from people who either dont have a k700, or have a k700 with the first firmware, or people that have no understanding of what use battery.
From the current range of highres colorscreened multifunction phones on the market - K700 propable is one the best regarding batterylife.
Visit forums of siemens, nokia, motorolla and you will find the same moaning about batterylifes of 1½ day with S65, N6230, E398 etc.
My k700 last 3-4 days on standard battery with normal use. It last 4-5 days on my 1100mah battery.
Please do try and understand that k700 does alot of things, play radio, play mp3, play video, records video, bluetooth, camera, plays great javagames, has a highresol colorscreen, animated themes etc - people buying k700's often use these features (or they would propably have bought something else) - and these features use battery - used alot they use alot of battery - its a law of nature. Its not rocketscience to understand that when these features are used you cannot have batterytimes equaling peoples old monocrome nokias that could do nothing but make calls and write sms.

Seriously... there is not 1 thing that i don't love about my K700i.
All the features you have mentioned alone is what makes the K700i standout, but even if it wasn't load with all those goodies, the RF reception alone is enough for me to praise it as 1 of the if not the best mobiles i've ever had the pleasure of owning.

Looks great to me, if real, although the connector is a bit odd, why would
change their connector after such a long time with the original it doesn't make sense, although I think this will be a great phone if/when it comes out, especially the black, I like black in a phone, as long as it's shiny! (T630!)

Awesome, I hope we get some action from Sony Ericsson, about time for something new, that isn't a simple face lift, or buggy update!
I think this phone shouldbe great and since the age of the connector we use today is soooooo old, I think an updat could be a good idea, I use serial form over bluetooth anyway, but for USB cable and dock users this could be good!
Anyway, I hope this phone gets through, could be awesome if the spec shown is the spec received!

The reason we haven't heard anything yet, is cos it is only 9:00AM in Las Vegas where it may be announced, although my hopes are low, as SE are getting rapidly slow around the productions!
