Hi, I live in Bangalore and I'm gonna buy my first phone soon (yippee!) my budget is 10k and I want a sleek phone that comes in interesting colours which should definitely have a camera, FM Radio, SMS, MMS, MP3 player and email.
Other features are not so important, so can anybody suggest a phone with its price? I can wait for another month b4 buying it so lemme know about new models & price changes. Thanks!

hmm.....so many demands for 10k rs???
if u r looking for a sony ericsson,u may get a t610.it now costs just above 11k...but its price may come down soon to bout 10k.it has a camera,sms,mms,email,bluetooth,ir etc but no mp3.not sure bout radio.
if u want a fone with all those features,u may have to go just beyond ur budget to get a SE k700i.its now priced at 17k rs.it s price r gonna fall soon.

Never Never Never Never buy your phones from the SonyWorld or Nokia world or Motorola world or any such outlets. If I buy a k700i for 17k from those outlets, all it means is that I have got a 13k worth phone in my hands and have contributed 4k to the dealers childrens college fund.
There are places where you can get the same phones for much lower prices with bill ( ie: legit).
So please guys, do not post those jacked up prices. Post only the cheapest but importantly, legitimate prices you know of for sure.

@gov: Orange Branded doesn't mean 2nd hand. It means, some one bought it in one of the countries with contracts, at a cheaper contract price, and fled the country with the phone.
. Lots of people do it, its how the Grey market runs in Delhi.

Hi Guys. Am new here.
Just picked up a K700i from Dubai during the DSF for INR 13.5K with a free Akono HBH-600. Lock-free but has arabic charcters on the keypad (along with English, of course) - the only downside.
FW is R2AE033. Battery life is 24 hrs with heavy (3 to 3.5 hrs usage) every day.

Well the latest K 700i is costing Rs.12,800 with bill in South Delhi..
My friend bought one 4 days back and it costed him 13, 200 in GK-Market..afterwards we found that in 3 days the phone slipped to 12,800..!
Another enquiry found that the S700i is priced between 19,900 and 21,000 depending on dealers..! Not confirmed on this though..!

Hi guys! I am planning to go for Sony Ericsson T610. At present I M in UK and the cost of Sony Ericsson T610 here is £75 (pounds) + £10 unlocking, which will cost approximately INR. 7000 indian rupees. Can anybody tell me what is the price of Sony Ericsson T610 in India (Delhi or Mumbai)? so that I can make a decision to purchase it either from here or from India. Any feedback on mobile will be appreciated.

why not go for a T 630 its load better than T 610..As of now T610 is off production in India, only T630 is available...I'm sure if there are any T610 available they are either old stock or smuggled lots...a T630 is for under 7500 rupees in delhi

PLEASE can you confirm this ?
Because today 1.3 megapixel camera phones are available for around 18K , so paying 19 or 21K for my SE is not a crime whereas paying 27K is.

Oops! You will have to know that the S700 has its camera module from the sony cybershot series of cam phones which can take pro quality pics. Take a look at S700 picture thread and see for yourself.

Considering those models almost all features of the S700i , i am pushed into a dilemma.
