t68mi "gprs parameters not supported"

Having just finally got my t68m upgraded, I now find that Internet access with my Palm m505 brings up this message on the phone. Frankly, I'm baffled, as I haven't changed any settings on the Palm and it worked fine before the upgrade. Even more odd is the fact that email over gprs still works fine, so it can't be the phone settings...or can it? Any advice gratefully received.

...and yes, I did try searching on this topic.
