im having proplem to establish dial up connection between s700 and ipaq it seems that ipaq having proplem with s700 only since i tried with p900 and its work but with s700 i only can send and recieve file ..any help will be appreciated ...

Im having the same problem with the 4150 and a gsm dial up conection seems to dial ok the falls over reporting a modem hardware fault, used to work fine with my philips fisio.

you need to put a z into the iPAQ "extra dial-string modem commands" field

On your connection setting pls change these values:A. Dial number *99#. CID code is not needed for single data account.B. In advance tab uncheck 'wait for dial tone...'C. In the same tab, in 'extra dial string modem commands' put letter Z

Try this AT command for modem activation string:
+CBST=0,0,1;+CHSN=1,1,0,4
Work with my K700i and ASUS Pocket PC.
GSM connection
Not try yet with GPRS
