Password fields in WAP - Esato archive

Hi all:

I have a problem with a SE T105 accpeting only 5 char password fields, while in the same situation with a SE P800 it accepts unlimited chars.

T105 as WAP 1.2.1 ans P800 WAP 2.0.

Could this situation occur because of WAP version? I.E. does WAP 1.2.1 only accept 5 char in password fields?

No, it is not because of wap version. Could be buggy software. Try to get it upgraded. Wap browsers on some phones are not good, such as z200.

@xptm. I agree with wapt there. Like he said, try upgrading your phone's firmware.

Well, Vodafone here in Portugal said i allready had the lastest software version (!) bur they let me return the T105. The problem is that i'm trying to buy another phone with WAP 1.2.1 and i'm afraid that the problem occurs again.

But if it's not a problem of WAP 1.2.1 i think i just have to take tha chance...
