Hmm.. it didn't work when I keyed in the combination. How can I achieve those versal letters? When I press down the key 5 for example, I only get several small g:s and not one big G

Spanker, I've already e-mail you Twins's background for T68 ... for ringtone after the T68i software upgrade, just go to the following link and download the ringtone program for T68i..it can convert the nokia ringtone into I-melody..........so cool !!!!

then you can simply find the nokia logomanager ringtone here

copy and paste it to the program and it will convert to i-melody for you,,,,,,,,,then you can simply IR to T68i......so easy !!!! Hope we can upgrade our T68 into T68i soon so we can have much nicer i-melody ringtone !!!

but the latest version requires registration, so u can find an earlier version of Nok2Phone (V2.95)..... just open a midi file and u can convert it into Ericsson format, then paste the "result" in your note pad to create eMelody
past the following into ur notepad, save the txt file and rename it *.emy then u can beam it to ur T68

nar... that blardy dealer was supposed to send it out on Thursday, but she rang me yesterday and said she still had the phone with her, cos Ericsson said it was the theme that made the difference(it was already in Black&White..... @.@)... she doesn't think the screen is pinky/orange-ish...... so she rang me up, but i insisted that i want the phone sent away for a new one......becos of this delay, i am gonna get it back next friday (at best!)....
well, who cares, not much to do before the T68i upgrade, hehehe.....

spanker: sorry for the late reply but yes, I got my phone upgrade the first few days the software was out... I just took another one in for upgrade few days ago and will probably pick it up today or tomorrow.
Hey, do you guys feel the phone is slower after the upgrade!? I hate how you key in a number to dial, press yes and then you have to wait 2-3 seconds before it dials...
or you can try to key in the number, then press option and hide my number and try dialing... its even slower!

Oh really? But you know what, SE personnel always give contradictive information, there were times when even us in Europe didn't think that we would ever get the upgrade. I've heard ppl upgrading from T68mc to T68m(i). I don't think that it will arise any problems.
But the best way to do it is to go abroad, preferably to Europe if you have the opportunity to do so. And when you are here, just turn your phone to a
Service Center and they will do the upgrade, free of charge and no matter what Software version/language it had before. The downside is that you will probably loose the Chinese-character input.

Anyways, I gotta get the firmware for my T68i upgraded to work properly with my bluetooth headset I got for Christmas. Problem is, the phone I got was second hand from a guy who bought it in HK. Since I can speak some Chinese, I'd like to keep the Chinese input on the phone. Can the SE service centre here in Australia install the latest China or HK version of the firmware?
It'd be cool if I could have both simplified and traditional Chinese, but I don't think there is a version which has both. :/

Well, I don't think you will be able to upgrade your T68ie here in Aussie as your phone version are not available here. Although ther service centre do get access to all the language version upgrade, I think they are not willing to upgrade for you! You can try, tell them you got the chinese version, see if they are willing to upgrade you with the latest chinese version software........but I highly doubt it !
