T610 GPRS settings Orange

Hi,
Im located in Mumbai.Just got myself a T610 and tried activating the GPRS service through Orange. I receuved the settings through SMS and installed them. But when I try to access GPRS, I get a message
"GPRS parameters not supported"

Any suggestions on what could be wrong

I was bought a Sony Ericsson T610 mobile in Sweden that was contact with Vodafone, I was send that mobile to India to my friend is that mobile will work all net(BSNL) works in India .Could you please reply me any one if knows

Turn off then on the fone and try then. Is it working now?
