I'm just so no happy with vodacom4me peeps ... I use to be able to buy databundles for my contract and all other services could activate and deactivate.
Someone went and deployed the wrong code. that didn't allow that anymore. Now I'm sitting with no data bundle and I can't browse facebook at work.
But they said they are fixing it.

@ gucci, the n78 has been great man, dont miss my k810 at all, except maybe for the camera! Its so much more user friendly... I think the n78 has only crashed once or twice since the master reset!
@ gola, fifa09 is the best, graphics is brilliant, you can now play with the mouse and there is a new collision system built in that makes players fall, and have the ability to get out of tackles and stuff!

Fifa09 damn ... I've struggle to get going with EA Fifa games the only one I enjoyed was Fifa 99 ... graphics were not great but playability was great we use to play LAN while I was still a student.

Huh, once again the Xenophobia showed up in J-Bay
This time it was even more violent and vicious. Not only Somaliers got moerd but also brawn shops 'went down'. After the police run out of rubber they used bird. Policeman and public needed medical treatment. It will be interesting to see how the news papers are going to report it all. I am not at liberty to post anything.
On another note - the N95's camera is pretty OK. Here are a few pictures (for evaluation), I shot this morning at my work.

My evaluation gives the thumbs up,but i could be biased lol I think the N95-2 is better than just ok.Ive taken some landscape shots of mountain ranges ect and when I transferred them to my PC i was gobsmacked by how good they came out.Did you hear on the radio yesterday Desmond Tutu saying he aint going to vote in next years election because of the mess the ANC are in at the moment.Always respected that man for never been afraid to open his mouth even if its going against party lines.

@ Gola, bird refers to birdshot which is the type of pellet found inside shotgun shells. They're small pellets made of steel or lead, about 90 of them packed inside a Number 2 cartridge. Depending on the choke setting of the shotgun, the pellets spread out in a fan pattern, and they burn like the devil himself when they hit flesh.

Mbeki ally to form breakaway ANC
Former South African Defence Minister Mosiuoa Lekota is expected shortly to announce a breakaway party from the ruling African National Congress (ANC).
It is reported that Mr Lekota is being joined by other ANC members loyal to former President Thabo Mbeki, who was forced to resign last month.
The ANC is divided between supporters of Mr Mbeki and Jacob Zuma, who won party elections last year.
General elections are due in South Africa in the first half of next year.
Mr Lekota, a former ANC chairman, last week wrote an open letter, in which he accused the new ANC leadership of damaging democracy.
Transport Minister Jeff Radebe responded by saying Mr Lekota and those who supported him were free to leave the party.
Mr Mbeki stood down after a judge suggested he may have interfered in the prosecution of Mr Zuma on corruption charges.
The former South African leader strongly denies this and has appealed against the judge's ruling.

Everything Falcon said regarding choosing between K850i and P1i.We have 2 members in here each sporting the aforementioned phones.Amawanga with the P1i and Gucci with the K850i.I sure they can give you more advice on the matter.Me,what would I choose,the P1i just because Ive had the P990i (which I loved for a wee while) and its a great improvement from that.Ive played on one and its a beauty.

Oh dam hobbs turned out to be a fruit lol.hobbs there's not much that an e90 can do that your n95 8gb cant and besides the cam is a downgrade...i say cancell that contract you getting yourself into too much debt.rather buy it cash and feel the pinch one time instead of forking out over a grand on cell phone contracts for like ever!i did that to be one of the first in the country with an n95 and i regretted it later.

Id say go for the P1i, as much as i like my K850 ive given it to my mum for now since she wanted a spare phone with Radio and good camera. When using K850 id always find myself going back to my trusty and far more versatile N81. If you want a great camera and HSDPA get the K850, but if those dont realy matter then get a P1, its so much more useful and stable, ive also used one and its a realy nice phone.

Downgrade in camera.I dont care about the camera.With what Ive read its not as bad as you might think.Read stacks of reviews on the E90's cam and video abilities and its all very positive.I hardly ever use the N95-2 camera that often so I wont be missing it one bit.Its the large screen and QWERTY keyboard thats selling me.I use my phone so so much for internet browsing,emailing,chatting ect and I just cannot stand the 240*320 screen dimensions and the lack of QWERTY anymore.Im going to go blind by 40 and lose my thumbs by 50.lol

I spend about R650 a month on my top up 300 on mtn that's including a 1gb data bundle and i top up about another R100 bucks a month on this same contract.most of my calls are made from my cell c pre paid and i spend about R1500-00 per month on pre paid vouchers.so all in all around R2100 per month hey...

Ye browsing on a 240x320 screen can be a little annoying, i think NOKIA should have stuck to the 352x416 CIF res they had in E60, E70, N80 and N90 had, for the Nseries, it was so much smoother!

All good all good and you? The C702 looks nice, dust and splash resistant im sure its going to have very high build quality then, 3.2mp cam, 2.2inch screen, GPS etc. . .looks like a great phone especialy if you're a fan of the great outdoors lol, i dont think SE have ever made phone like C702 hey.

Lol i did that in 2006 and got the W800. I wont take her contract upgrades, her Weekender has useless phones when upgrading and her Talk500 upgrade is always the same year and a month before mine, i think il have to ask my Dad to get me a N79 in December, we'll see what happens, just gota focus on my studies now, my prelim results are good and im looking to do even better in finals, then i can talk solidly about getting a N79 lol.
Im on a Talk130s ,with 130mins free calls (now sitting at 600mins because they accumilate every month), 100 free sms, a 500mb Data Bundle and all add up to R542pm, my bill if i manage to finis my bundle only gets up to R650 max.

I would certainly opt for the P1i option; as Gucci stated, it's very stable and does not suffer those flawed B.R.O.D. issues.
I would seem biased as the phone (P1i) is far more suitable as to what I am after, but as regards stability between the two, well the facts speak for themselves.
The P1i's camera is pretty good, although it does require a fairly steady hand and I find it over-exposes pics slightly, so a quick adjustment of the light setting on the touchscreen really makes a difference. Macro mode shots are generally pretty good for a cellphone.
I like the fact that one has both options, i.e. touchscreen and keypad, plus the fact that being a smartphone, there's third applications aplenty (albeit not a patch on Nokia's S60 range of applications).
I'll happily recommend the
