We are honestly living in a sick world. You realy cant trust anyone. What a bunch of twisted bastards.
Janbobejan
Yep latest for N95-8gb is V30.0.018, is yours Voda branded? If so use NSS to change the product code to a Euro1 product code then use NSU to update, i did this with my N81 to get V20, had to use a Asia Pacific code though. Visit the NSS NSU topic at the Pro S60 Forum.
Gola
Thanx bro, im only downloading it now lol.

There's someone on campus selling a coupla phones one of which is the n82 for R1000...Do you think the phones are genuine, cos I just happen to have a few cents lying around. Oh and the n95 8GB goes for R2500, but I'm not all that into the it, I'm sorry HOBBS, I guess it's one of those "I won't like it until I've tried it" things
Posted by HOBBS
No apologies needed Gola.Im smiling.
Posted by GUCCI.011
Gola
An N82 for R1000? N95-8gb for R2500? Dam sounds dodge to me, maybe its test units/prototypes OR they are black listed phones, has he let you use them yourself?
Posted by gola
Nope, haven't seen the dude, just spoke to him over a phone call...Apparently the phones are sealed.
Posted by HOBBS
Gola you'd be a fool if you thinking of even pursueing it any further. As Gucci said,Dodgy as Shite I say.
Posted by amawanqa
Couldn't agree more.
It's either stolen goods or a scam.
There's a classic eBay adage: "If it's too good to be true, it probably is."
Stay well clear, boet. I'll go as far as to promise you that it'll end in tears if you pursue it any further.

Thats hilarious Wangs.Pantera and Pop is like a N82 with a R1000 pricetag.

Gola you can actually score a bargain now and then just have your wits about you...firstly dont go alone when you fetching the phones take some big ous lol secondly before handing over the cash open the box and tell him you definitely paying him if everything is there...thirdly try to get his plates or id or something concretejust in case.and if you really wanna be sure then simply take the imei number down and call the networks to see if the phone is grey listed or clear.they dont black list anymore...unblockin is too easy.all in all bro it's worth the effort for the price!
Posted by HOBBS
Its worth the effort for the price.Dude how can you give the man that kind of advice.Listen or dont listen Gola. Its ultimately up to you in the end,but I say you going to get PUNKT!!!!!
Posted by Kryptik
To be honest, it does sound dodgy, but checking the imei on any phone is usually a good idea. A better idea, if you're shopping for a good second-hand phone, is to check out places like bidorbuy and ebay, and to only buy from trusted sellers.
Posted by gola
Nah falcon, HOBBS and the guys are right, it's too good to be true. I'll rather be on the safe side. But I can give you his number so you can be the guinea pig
