Eish ya thats true. Unfortunetly you can't escape it, even here in SA there are a lot of people who slag it off, most of my friends are under the mindset that SA is the worst country and anywhere else would be better, most of them were born outside of SA so to them this is just some 3rd World Country their parents brought them to, its sad they don't appretiate what we have here. Ive given up on defending SA amongst them because right now the bad is totaly over shadowing the good, and no matter how beautiful we think this country is, Zuma and his boys; ANC Youth league, the Shaik Brothers ,Eskom and the good ol Tito have found a way to make it look bad.

thats true, theres just so many, you've got Best Safe ive got SmartGallery, you have Handy Taskman i have JBak Taskman, you've got FScaller i have PhonePilot, you have Screenshot i have Screensnap etc. . . Lol theres so many alternatives, the only other app i would suggest is PhoNetInfo for exact Battery meter and signal strength, Symella for downloading Music, and Videos (like LimeWire), as well as Messenger for MSN- Its in the Download app where you found Share Online. For games Ngage is great, also try out Brothers In Arms (war game with great 3D graphics), Tomb Raider: Legend also amazing 3D, Worms World Party (looks almost like the PC one) as well Global Race (car game) which uses 3D graphics acceleration. Il upload Global Race for you as soon as i can.

Just done some browsing on changing the font on my phone and guess what........you cant.....not on a Nokia N95 8g or the Nokia N82 Swak.There is an app called Psiloc font magnifier so lets see if it can at least skrink my font enough to look something like Tahoma.ttf Yes Wangs..you heard right...back to Tahoma ha ha

Huh, the sewerage problem in drinking water in Humansdorp has not been completely sorted out yet
All my 3 kids have now running tummies. Right now I have the water tested 'scientifically' in a PE lab and my kids feces and if the same bacteria (e-coli) shows up, the municipality is in for a 'ride'. As a policeman I have lots of time and resources for just such a thing I don't know what is worse, sh!t in your water or water in your sh!t. Needles to say, the community is furious. To tell me that the responsible gentleman, which by mistake and unknowingly turned on/off the wrong valves, have been dismissed, is not enough. I want compensation. Actually no I want COMPENSATION I can't believe SABC is so quiet about the whole issue. Better without electricity then with a troubled stomach.
On another note - this WIMAX thing may be of interest to some SA residents. On question: how on earth is ICASA going to monitor the usage of the spectrum? Theoretically one is not be allowed to transmit on any frq. which ‘leaves’ ones residence. i.e. wifi ! Yet no one gives a damn here in SA. Who on earth is going to stop me, if I program the WIMAX card in my PC/LAPTOP and in my cell to use the band around 3GHz? Or 4 or 2 or or or

About WiMax, I thought the hype had died done because MWEB and Telkom have not gotten beyond trials. I suppose for now, while things are still up in the air you can do whatever with your PC card but whenever Telkom or MWEB start operations they'll force you to shut down.
@ALL: What's happening with the launch of terrestrial digital tv? Last time I heard the said stations would start broadcasting in November but media has been very quiet about it.

I think its great they are coming in with one universal Symbian Platform, imagine the development and how many apps will be available, and the best part being you can choose between SE, NOKIA, MOTO, SAMSUNG etc. . . . , and still have the same amount of app support, its going to be very interesting. I think if MOTO manage to get Linux to work on top of this Symbian Universal Platform they'll have some killah phones! Cant wait!

Don't depend too much on what others are saying. Theres loads of complaints about the N81, saying that the gaming keys easily crack and that the keys are hard to type with yet ive had mine for 6months going on to 7months and my gaming keys are still as good as they were when i got it, the keys just took some getting used to i was even able to write a full review with it a few days after getting it and i was fine, i suggest testing it before getting it.

The n78 looks like a good phone. Except 4 the keypad. In my opinion the keypad is a big mess up. But i hvent used the phone before so i dnt knw. Ur gonna hve 2 go test the phone 2 make a decision 4 urself

Apparently NOKIA are going to do a "mass FW update" for the current FP1 (N81, N82, N95, and N95-8gb) Nseries phones which will add some FP2 (N78, N96) features on our FP1 phones, so if you think your current battery life is good then be prepared for it to be excellent after the upcoming updates. I hope they've added Navi wheel functionality in more Menus for the N81, at N81Street some N81 users have the V20 Beta FW on their N81s and it has FlashLite3.0 equivalent of Flash8, as well as the Navi Wheel working in Messages, Contacts, and the Horseshoe menu as well as the multimedia menus it works on right now on ours.
