@JK: Jeez, that's very depressing...What do expect from a phone? Granted the things are overpriced but I'll hazard a guess and suggest you need a tricorder. I was also keen on the W960 but getting to Manila, on my upgrade is too much of a schlep so I just left it.
Right now using my N70(only texts) and a Nokia 2600 Classic, my company phone while I'm in an around SE Asia. Hopefully I can pick up something nice when I head out to either HK or Taipei later this year.

I saw a similar one and thouhgt the same. I remember hearing something about new number plates coming later this year so mabe after ZZZ999GP we will see a new design maybe. Isnt that what they did at the end of the Transvaal (T) number plates?

yeah i know about that brand, it's not all that new. There's actually a franchise at Rosebank, but apparently they don't stock gola branded attire in JHB anymore, mostly buccelli. So i don't think it's doing well in SA...

Yeah they sure are. Still one of the biggest, meanest, fastest helicopter gunships out there.
They actually used dressed-up Puma helicopters for Rambo 2 (when he fires the RPG through the Huey's broken perspex screen at the end, LOL) and Rambo 3, although they were made to resemble the earlier Hind models with the more conventional cockpits in that one; a lot easier than to make another mock Hind 'D' model, as in the
P1i pic.

Well guys, here goes.
Nokia 6500 Classic (3.2mp) v/s Sony Ericsson P1i (3.2mp).
First comparison:
Slightly overcast conditions, late afternoon in our back yard:
Taken straight after each other, both phone cams on default settings; no fiddling whatsoever.
P1i:
6500 Classic:
The Dark Side's won this round, no question.
Check the trees in the far right top background, for instance. All washed-out with the P1i. The pine tree needles in the right foreground and arch rosebush in the centre are also much sharper with the Nokia, and so on. You can all judge for yourselves.
Even if I had set the P1i to make the picture lighter (thereby not using just default settings), this would've obviously then impacted even more on the already washed-out foliage in the background.
Will try a few macro mode comparisons later.
So far, it's 1-0 to Nokia...

Yeah I reckon that it'll follow the trend like most handsets here and drop in price in a few months' time. It's only phones like the N95's, 8800 series etc that have held their value very, very well since they were launched.
But yeah, in the same breath, Nokia does hold their value the best and as we also know, the price drop increments won't be like the ones of Samsung handsets, LG etc.
The 6500 Slide and 6500 Classic, for example, have both only dropped about £50 (approx R750) since they came out( although I bought the one for my sister for only £85 i.e R1280 on esato!). The 8 Gig N81 is now hovering around the £250-odd mark, which isn't a massive drop here since it came out.

Ive FINALY hacked my phone, i had been waiting for a hack guide that didnt involve me having to go to my PC, and found one like that today, took me just 10mins to do it, and installed the iPhone Web Browser Patch so now all web sites will render pages as if for an iPhone on a S60v3 device.. . . .sweet
now to figure out how to unRaR cracked Ngage games on PC using WinRAR, Kyle i need your help bro!! Lol, i nearly kicked my tower because of the frustration. Im not that good when it comes to computers.

I put the letter on the dining room table, where the natural light from the double doors to the back yard filters in, and decided to do a quick macro mode test with the P1i and 6500 Slide. Well, the Nokia's 3.2mp cam has done it again.
Just to amplify things even more, because it was taken indoors and default settings, it's manifested some of the well-documented P1i cam flaws... check the magenta tint in the centre and green tint on the lower part of the P1i pic

LOL, I'm just very surprised how good The Dark Side's new 3.2mp is compared to the P1i. It also doesn't seem to suffer as much as the N73 in low-light conditions, but I'll take some more later tonight to put it through its paces further.
There's even a thin virtual focussing white rectangle that appears on the screen as you press down on the camera button, just before you press down more to take the shot, a la some stand-alone digital cameras.
BTW, what a name for a street...LOL. Dodgy traffic lights/ 'robots' helped it earn that name?LOL.
Would actually like to know as to what prompted the street to be named 'Wag 'n Bietjie Avenue' in the first place...

How's the iphone browser like on the n81 compared 2 the safari? Dude. Just get winrar. Extract the main file. There will be a file that has a funny name. Extract that. Just keep extracting the rar files. Then there will be a installer exactly the same as the origanal ngage installer double click on that. And follow the instruction's

Ur doin the right thing. Um how do i explain this. Um. Lol wen u extrated the files that come up with that volume. There will be a few of then. They all r linked 2 each other. So wen it asks 4 the other volumes click ok. If that still comes up look in each rar file 2 find the name of the file its lookin 4. Then change the name of that rar 2 the 1 that its lookin 4. Um its not the easiest way i. But i deleted all my rar files once i extracted them. And i cnt really remember wat i did
