I'm not one to go into my data counter so I really wouldn't know what Vodacom were charging. Best way is to get the itemised bill on the vodacom4me site. R2/mb sounds good in any language.

@Rhino : It might just be an issue with the firmware. Try and get the latest SW. I had a similiar problem with my T68i but the upgrade this week seems to have solved the problem although I still don't get text msg's from certain phones:-(

I didn't buy my phone through Vodacom but they didn't refuse to flash it to the latest firmware @ the price of R180...it beats buying a brand new phone. My phone does not crash anymore.

Well i phoned vodashop and they said that they dont have cables for k7i so they cant do it. Ill go find out if i can have it done somewhere else later.

AFAIK Vodacare is the only repair shop approved by SonyEricsson in SA. Good luck with your phone. Just btw discovered two new games on my phone after it had been flashed.

I'm not too sure the cheap GPRS will cease but I'm enjoying it. Only downside of my phone is that I can't make too many downloads. For many South African users check out the "wap&mobile" forum on prodigits... Check the MTN,Voda, Cell C thread.

Have been registered there for ova a month now. Since i could still use my o2 sim for free gprs here. And it loads all the other forums, i just cant open anything in mobiles&wap. I can see the topic, got 1100replies.

If you can get an o2uk sim and roam with it in south africa you get free gprs, lots faster than vodacom gprs. But it only work for a week or two so at the moment its not worth paying for the sim and waiting for it to get here. All my forums on proddigits works fine, am going to try using my nephews 3220 and see if it works. Well im actually interested in talking to south africans on wap, since i havent seen many.

With Prodigits, U can register via WAP.... if only Esato implements something similar, U will see more of Ur country folks (and MY country folks) here. Esato.com is on the homepage of Nigeria's Globacom Mobile wap page from where all of us came. So there are 110,000 potential new Esato members. Unfortunately many can't go thru the rigours of registering via the 'net. U must have noticed that there are more of your country folks at Prodigits than here, right? WAP registration is the reason. Someone beg @laffen for us.

What cell are you using ? Probably it has wap 2.0 then it might be possible.And yes on Prodigits are quite a few South Africans.But I think is more related to the way of chatting then registration.Here you must download a new page to see a new answer.Most of the answers are short anyway and is a waste of time and brakes the flow.Also there you just click on a name and get all the info about someone,so friends can find each other more easily.Should you have guessed I am from South Africa? Im an english supporter coz they play south africa at the moment. Sa doesnt deserve any support, they were one of the best teams, then hansie got thrown out and they just went to shit. They need a captain that can think on his feet, at this moment smit relies to much on the coach to make decisions.

@scotsboyuk: I can only recommend something to do or see if I know where you'll be in SA. Cape Town, Joburg and Durban are quite different from one another.
