try the IP address instead of server names for incoming and outgoing servers.
i'm with Genie/O2 and i can send and receive no problem, in fact just setup my Yahoo account in my T68 instead of Wap.

thats the thing...im using the ip!
I dont get any luck, i set up an o2 email address asuming that it would work with o2! and it didnt!

do u use dial up wap to send and recievce email?
Posted by decoy7
yeah, i use the 915000 dial up number.
i can retrieve email from Yahoo and my ISP via their Pop server settings.

i can also retrieve but not send

sorry, i can send too, are you sure your Outgoing server address is correct...it's not the same as the incoming.
thats probably the problem if you can receive but not send.

If I have attach signature activated then mine fail. Turning it off might work for you too.

most propable cause is that the smtp server wont accept relaying from your ip... you MUST use your own smtp server or the one from your phone provider... NOT the one from your isp
