correct me if i'm wrong but your unbranding is an "unauthorised change" to the phone's software which renders your guarantee null and void

Not to worry, if something happens to it, fry it with a 220V blast through the charger terminal and return it to shop!

Seriously i wouldn´t worry too much, the shops (where you normally complain about your faulty phone) send phone to service centre and i doubt that they have time and/or interest in checking whether phone has original FW or not.
