I have only just got my T68m Upgraded. CPW (Belfast) upgraded it to a R2B025 firmware. can I get CPW to upgrade my T68 again under warranty or is the upgrade just a one off thing?

After what I heard, you can only upgrade to R2E006 if you have an original T68i....sorry.

The upgrading is NOT a one time thing. I have upgraded my T68m at least 5 times, since october 2001.

Arjey, tsk, tsk, get your facts straight.
As the others have mentioned, both the T68m and T68i can be upgraded to R2E006.

Is it worth getting the upgrade? Does it make the phone faster or something like that?

I think it's worth.
have probably fixed some bugs...

There's a massive list of fixes in R2E006. If you search the forum, you'll find it.

once the T68m has been converted.... it is a t68i, thus it CAN be updated to R2E006

I was thinking what excatly does this feature do: "15757 Implementation of basic TTY Support".
Does anyone have idea?

A T68m after the MMS update is not exactly a T68i !! In term of functions, yes, it’s exactly the same… however, by the SC, when you plug your phone to perform an update, the first thing checked is the IMMEI, and then you have to choose an update made for a T68m !!
In my case, in the beginning of this week, I did the update R2E006… but I had to choose one made for a T68m !!
@Waredafah
Yeeehhh, it’s worth to do…!!! In my opinion this update is even better than the MMS’one !!! Now the T9 is so great… quite unbelievable after having waited so long for a good working T9 !!
