This thread is for those Esatonians who do not smoke and drink! I wonder if there are indeed such people here? To begin with, let me tell you people that i am a teetotalle! I do not smoke or drink and nor am i intending to do so in the future. Anyone like me here?

And thirdly - I'm almost teetotal! I have the occasional drink (usually no more than a pint or two) but I'm usually driving so often on the soft drinks. I used to drink more, but I now can't be bothered with the hangovers or the money spent to get that hangover! I like the odd pint, but after one or two the taste gets a bit too bitter for me! I like the odd bacardi breezer, but again any more then two would count as a 'bender' for me! I'm getting sick of the drinking culture we have in our country, is it as bad in your neck of the woods?
And I gave up smoking just over 6 months ago! Although I admit I do have the odd cigar when I go out, I still get cravings for a cigarette, I don't think that will ever go away.

I'm with Sammy_boy, I only have the very occasional pint, for example last night was the first time I had drunk alcohol in 4/5 months (and that was just a pint). As for the smoking though, never have, never will.

I do find those people who boast about how much they drink both annoying and boring. I don't give a you-know-what how much someone drank the night before!!
Not drinking really doesn't bother me, many people seem to get very upset if they can't drink, and I'm sure I've had quite a few funny looks when I order a lemonade in a pub!

As I don't really drink or smoke, it means I have more money to spend on mobile phones and gadgets!
And I don't get a bad head in the morning. And I can remember what I was doing, and can tell the difference between the toilet and the wardrobe at 3am. And I can remember what everyone else did that night, great for blackmail purposes and piss-taking!

I don't smoke and rarely drink (no alcohol this year). I used to enjoy both. Stopped smoking 15 years ago and decided to cut down on alcohol for health reasons. I had no intention of stopping but sort of did by accident. Now I don't miss it. :-D

Welcome aboard mate! First of all let me congratulate you on your decision to quit! I am no expert in this field, but i have helped a friend of mine to quit his smoking habit. I would recommend you a book by Anthony Robbins titled "Awaken the giant within" which has a truly effective chapter called "pain and pleasure" it might be of some help to you. Hope this helps. ;-)

i enjoy a nice pint every now and then, it's a shame you have to be 21 to buy in this country. i think the reason i have such a hard time quitting smoking is i turn into a chimney whenever i start drinking...

i dont normally visit threads like this while at work, thinking or talking about booze when i cant have any upsets me.
any sugestions of what i can do this weekend? it is my weekend off but i cant afford to go out. this is the first time in 10 years i have been off work at a weekend and not gone out!
