Free 02 GPRS for Wap 2.0 devices

Has anybody else recieved an email from O2 stating GPRS will be free until Nov 1st for wap 2.0 users. I was charged Ł27 in august for using GPRS, and after emailing them a few times they keep saying i went over my 0.5mb included in my contract. I am trying to explain to them my free amount doesn't matter if there is no cost for another fortnight.

Do i have a leg to fight them on, as they have charged me for something that they sent an email saying is free. I have also said that they are breaking the terms of the contract for charging me for something that is free without telling me, so i wait there response for that comment. But do you think i have any chance of getting my Ł27 back?
