The biggest steam engine used in Norway was called "Dovregubben" (the mountain king), photos:
link: http://home.online.no/~roynorma/bilder/damploka.jpg
link: http://www.jernbaneverket.no/[....]ovregubben_lok_ty_1266134a.jpg
link: http://www.jernbane.net/norge/damp/tp49/49a_01.jpg
It weighed 160 metric tons and had 2600 hp (one of the best in this size at the time. One other site says almost 5000 hp, but I'm not sure if that is correct). Seven units were made, in the late 1930ies, production stopped because of war.
An overview of all engines used in Norway since the diesel is available here: http://webcider.no/arnstein/jernbane_norge_kap5.php?lang=1
And here are all info about Dovregubben available in tables: http://www.jernbane.net/norge/damp/tp49/
(both unfortunelately only available in Norwegian, but the tables are understandable I suppose, mostly numbers).
