does anyone know if there is a maximum file size that you can send to your phone via bluetooth? I tried sending a 12mb file from my laptop but it won't let me - it keeps saying "sending failed" but I can send a 10mb file without any errors

It will need more free memory in the internal drive than the size of the file but I don't know if there is a specific limit other than that

By the way, what phone?

yeah but why would you want to? it's slooooow! i love bluetooth with my laptop. but only for themes pictures & ringtones. for music (whole albums) - use the cable.

Nope, it isn't slow in the case of K850i. It can recieve files via BT @ 160KB/s.
Means a 5MB file will take approx. 31sec only to be transferred.
Though the cable is still faster, but there is an advantage of using BT that you dont have to browse for the folder for the file to be copied. It will automatically get copied to the appropriate folder.
