I have a hutch connection in Delhi, India. I tried to setup email as follows on the T610
Connect using : Hutch_GPRS
Protocol : POP3
Incoming server : pop.hotpop.com
Incoming Port : 110
Mailbox : raj_srini@hotpop.com Password : My password for hotpop
outgoing server : smtp.hotpop.com
outgoing port : 25
email address : raj_srini@hotpop.com From name : Rajesh S
Signature : No signature.
Copy outgoing : Off
Check interval : Off
It checks and says "Finding Server" and a little while later says "Server not found". Can anyone pls help....

Did you make sure it is using the web settings and not wap?

Easily said, if are paying rs99 for wap/gprs its not possible . You got to subscribe for web/gprs in that case .

Thanks all... Checked with Hutch and they said POP3 is possible only if i subscribe to the Rs.499 Hutch Access option. I currently have the Rs.99 GPRS setting only. Frightfully expensive for POP3 over mobile man!!!!! Is there anything else I can do with the Rs.499 plan other than checking POP3 email which makes it worth the money being spent every month?

removing @hotpop.com does not help. I guess what Ayush and other said in the thread is valid. Till you pay up Rs.499 p.m, they do not give access to web/GPRS.
