Well, when SONY and Ericsson combined, SONY provided the money at first, while Ericsson made the phones. Then SONY wanted to get in on helping with the designs of the phones.
I think we'd get alot of phones that looked the same, with slightly stable, slightly unstable FW, and alot of zany designs, with crazy keypads and odd add-ons.
