I just sent a pm to AYA. I hope he will join us soon, unless madam don seize P800.

Posted by ihejirika
Wth persistent silence,I have a growg urge 2 conclude tht Madam has confiscatd either Aya himself or d p800.Brym dont give up d hunt until u supply us wth a substantial explainatn.Tell OBJ 2 declare a state of emergency if need be.

Posted by brym!
@Coola, after losing my k700 I vowed not to spend more than 35k on any phone. The k700 cost me 55k and I only used it for 3 months. Big waste(loss).
@Ihe, B4 the state of emergency let me first text him if there's no response then we can appeal to madam to release P800. Meanwhile start foming a seach party

This message was posted from a K500

35k is still very high for me. Around 20k is more my style. But you gotta protect your phone too.

Posted by brym!
@Ihe, sent text to AYA. How far have you gone with forming a search party?
@Coola, I am open to suggestions on how to protect my phone.

Posted by ihejirika
@Brym,d armed forces has been placed under alert.Even thos at Bakassi has been recalled. No stone is 2 b left unturned.D personality involved is a big fish.

Posted by brym!
@Ihe, armed forces? those ones when amala don weaken. Look for Special Forces wherever, we are talkig about AYA O!

Posted by OluYom
Hi guys, I am touched truly by your concern. But , no; madam has not seized my p800 . Brym!, I got your SOS (sorry, SMS).

My p800 cost me N60k, and I would buy it again if need be. I am actually eyeing the Nokia 9500 communicator. Cool, powerful, useful.

Posted by brym!
Great to have you back. Pls don't try this ur quiet stunt again O! It's too risky.

Posted by OluYom
@brym! Boyscout's honour. Actually, I've been at a client's office all day, updating their website. How's your health? Take care and make sure you have fun the rest of the year o.

Posted by brym!
@AYA, thanks my health is improving by the second. The Nokia 9500 is a beauty with brains but damn too expensive( 140k) . Appears like 7710 has more features?

Posted by brym!
@ Ihe, Just in case you are still looking for the Special Forces, AYA is back O! OR Make we organise search party for you too?

Posted by OluYom
@brym! Not a bad idea.

Posted by ihejirika
@Aya,welcome back.Good 2 hear tht u & d p800 r in nobody's custody.B4 u & brym lunch my search party against me,my short absence was due an embargo I placed on going out wth my 7650.

Posted by coolapostle
I got an assignment for the Special Force: Deeone, Areafada, momolosho, 2teks, and of course Tilly. Oops! And the biggest fish of all Demmy! WHERE ARE YOU DEMMY.....

Posted by brym!
@Coola, excellent idea. AYA,Ihe, angel, even you Coola have automatic recruitment into the Special Forces. Aya leads, Ihe is deputy, angel & Coola form the rear guard. Me? I'll be @ the extreme rear covering the battle line CNN reporters do.

Posted by ihejirika
Brym,we need u in d front.History has it tht when u knock at ppls door they come out.Allow Whizkid 2 cover d rear. Also designate a private jet 2 Capetown or is it Johanesburg 2 fetch Brix25.

Posted by brym!
@Ihe, jet already despatched to SA for brix25. As 4 the other guys, they were off the air b4 I joined the forum so it's back to you and Aya to do reconnaissance.

Posted by ihejirika
@brym,if I'm correct 4rm my last count,Whizkid knows exactly where 2 find Demmy-a foundatn member of naija forum.

Posted by brym!
@Ihe, did I say off the air? i meant they were missing in action(MIA) b4 I joined the forum.

Posted by ihejirika
Its ok.In d absence of Demmy,Aya is competent to take over d aspect of reconnaissance. I'm also a young member.I joined just b4 glo started 70k/kb.

Posted by coolapostle
I would be missing in action too if not because I have mails to send from the cybercafe virtually everyday. I advise u all to visit ESATO from a pc more often. Some threads are great. And u can quickly catch up on the gists. I also found a site today called gsm forum that was bigger than ESATO. I will investigate and give u the full gist.

Posted by OluYom
@coola: esato is a mine of information. I go round everyday, learning & contributing. Pls post the URL of that site you mentioned. I want to take a look too.

Posted by ihejirika
Can u imagine!! Vicious esato wolf is getting ready 2 decimate everybody's number of posts.I'll have 2 start afresh 2morrow morning.Sufficient unto d day is d trouble thereof.

Posted by Demmy
oops! I,m back

Posted by Demmy
hmmmn i seem 2 be here alone this time.anyway i'm catching my fun alone

Posted by OluYom
@demmy: Where have you been, o Demmy? We eere going to send Special Forces after you.

Posted by Demmy
@Aya that's disappearing act II.@every1 i hope 2 spend more time in da house in due course of time.Where's dawny too.@Aya wot's the result of our competition?

Posted by OluYom
@demmy: Which? The ne about introducing 5 ppl to Proudly Naija? Coola: 2; AYA: 1. Someone, fill me in n any I missed out. We seem to have generally fashied the game jare

Posted by ihejirika
I'v always suspectd tht Demmy was somewher monitorg what we were doing on this thread. If not,how can we explain his appearance on d same day we plannd 2 go after him.

Posted by DREWMARK

@DREWMARK,welcome 2 this thread. In Nigeria,d best gsm network with gprs is glo.

Posted by Angelgirl
@Ihe, you are right about demmy, he is obviously reading all our posts, just wanted to know if we missed him, you and ur vicious wolf self, take coolap's adivice and visit and contribute to other forums with a pc, so the wolf will leave ur points alone

@Drewmark, Welcome to our Forum, I guess u r a nigerian, if so be proud and indicate it. Cheers.

@Coolap, lets know the site please.

Posted by ihejirika
@Angel,d vicious wolf is exclusively owned & manned by Esato.I dont understand why Esato chose 2 rear wild animals just 2 use it 2 force ppl around.I mean,we r in a democracy.Aren't we?

Posted by coolapostle
I have to visit a cyber cafe to get the url. @drew how u de? Only glo has GPRS but it may take a week to activate the line o! So it depends on how long u want to stay. I advice u use a cybercafe. @all LATER today I will ask u what u did that u r sure made God HAPPY. So be good today! @aya another 3 am post? Hmm...

Posted by nikao
Hi folks u guyz deserve an OFR national award for patroitism (grins). I'm sure glad 2 b nigerian. Keep up d good work & a shoutout 2 coolapostle.

Posted by brym!
A full house and 2 new entrants? That's more like it guys; spread the word. Demmy welcome back. Drew & nikao: WELCOME O! Hoping you'll post often. @ angel, thank God you show up, otherwise Special Forces for visit you.@Coola, some get connected to gprs in hours, so don't discourage Drew.

Posted by ihejirika
@coola,it seems glo in Lagos has since changed their wicked ways.U can activate & browse on glo within 1hour if u have d time 2 visit Adeola Odeku. @nikao,welcome back.

Posted by Angelgirl
@brym, No shaking, am always reading all your posts....

Posted by OluYom
@nikao. Welcome back. Please show your face more often o! Nikao got GPRS activated on his line 48 hours, so its not so bad.

Who was that griping about my 3 a.m. post? Are you scared of Hitler, Musolinni, Hussein, Anti-He et al? He, he, he

Posted by brym!
@AYA, with our new princess crying for food @ unusual hours why won't you be posting @ 3am?

Posted by OluYom
@brym! Funny, but my girlfriend sleeps so soundly at night, she hardly imposes any vigil on us.

Me, I am just used to working at night, a carry over from Architecture school.

Yahoo! Mobile is now working again. I just checked my mails. Here's the URL: http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=mail

@AYA, solve this equation: if your wife is your best friend, your baby girl is your girl friend, what is your son? Your pally? Thanks for the tip on yahoo.

Posted by OluYom
@brym!: You hit the nail right on the head.

@All: Tilly sent me an early xmas greeting. Where are: deeone, dawny, areafada, momolosho, and akeem? How about that search party?

Posted by brix25
Hi to all my fellow Africans.

I haven't been here in a while but there's been a reason...being a journalist doesn't afford me the time to be on the internet.

In the SA forum I've posted some titbits of news that came out this week.

Hope everyone will enjoy the holidays...here in South Africa all the cellphone networks( except Cell C) are trying to outdo each other with summer themed adverts.

Posted by brym!
@AYA, why are you considering the 9500, I thought you'll naturally upgrade to SE P900 or 910 being a P800 user. @Coola, still waiting for those tips on mobile security.

Posted by OluYom
@bryx25: Whatz up with CellC? They seem to be the least visible net in SA. On the other nets, the hot competition must be good for the consumer.

@brym!: Originally, I wanted the 9210i. The lack of GPRS put me off. I love the keyboard, plus the communicator can send/receive fax. The 9500 comes with all that, plus WiFi & GPRS. The communicator series are the only Nokia phones I would take a serious look at. They are formidable worktools that will always stand out. I love SE, but no be do-or-die.

Posted by coolapostle
Ok boys and girl, WHAT DID U TODAY THAT U R SURE MADE GOD HAPPY? Coolapostle dashed a friend in need 500 bucks. The guy just saw me and my big mouth blabbed about the money some one sent me for an air ticket to Lagos. I gave him reluctantly, but I am sure God smiled. Who is next?

Posted by OluYom
@coola: The keyword is "reluctantly"

Me, I did nothing out of the ordinary. I loved my wife, kids & neighbours as myself. No heroic superstar stuff...

But I am certain that it counts up there.

Brix25 thanks for dropping by. Just a couple of questions for you:
Is MTN operating a 2.5 gsm network in SA? If yes, any idea when it started? Is there a 3G network provider in SA today yet?

@coola, the good Lord asked us not to display or announce our charity or assistance to others. Next question?
Hey I'm still waiting for those security tips

@Ihe, where you dey? Searching for areafada and other MIAs?
