@Demmy, sorry u have a problem wit ur mms. I guess Bcos of its so many problem Dats y dey have not started billing 4 it. Glo must stil be fine tuning d whole gprs stuff Dats y d service is so epileptic. I wonder if they wil make profit from gprs if dey continue dis way.

@areafada. Sorry i couldnt reply earlier, my bat was dead no lite 2 charge it. It got d games from Kobrawap.com. But d site is kinda crazy cos is not every time u can d load. Just visit d site regularly and u might just be lucky 2 get sometin.

There are some networks that actually offer GPRS WAP free. Its a great way to attract subscribers. Wouldnt it be great if Glo chooses to do that?

Yeah it would be great if glo decides 2 do dat. Heard d networks in sa dont offer gprs 2 their prepaid sub. Aint we lucky in naija? Am happy 2 be in nigeria and be on glo. 10 gbosa 2 glo.

My SIM had already been activated for mms by glo. Understanding dat both WAP & MMS run over d same platform, I simply rproduced d MMS settings in d WAP setup, made a few adjustments, & voila! Even now, I am not using their MMS settings for MMS. I use d WAP settings. Probably explains why I can send MMS now while noone else can

True, B4 glo started it's wap i also tried what aya did & was successful wit. 1stly i tried sending a mms 2 my email then went 2 cyber cafe 2 check dt mail & it was in dere, at dt time i was arguing wit a customer service personal dat i could send a mms 2 an email, she didn't agree wit me. later i now tried usin d mms settin as my default settin 2 log on, surely it tried connectin but latter, prompt no gateway reply. Ques: why can't pic be replied/sent back 2 my mms address 4m d internet, bcause we all ave diff. Mms add. (Dat's how we send mms 4m fone 2 fone). Or is it possible 2 get pic sent 4m email 2 mms?

@ areafada. Re u sayin u started using ur glo wap wit out glo provisioning ur sim? Cos Dats wat Aya is sayin and i find it hard 2 believe. Provisioning means activation of one sim by d network 2 do either mms or wap.

@demmy I was reading thru d posts and saw dat u are finding it hard 2 believe dat b4 glo officially announced wap dat aya was accessing wap thru his glo line. Well I did d same thing. what dat tells u is dat once provisioned 4 mms u've been automatically provisioned 4 wap, what is left is getting wap settings and u can connect. And believe me if we had kept quiet then we would have enjoyed it up till the time of official launch of their wap. There is something else we've discovdred but this time we're keeping quiet.

@deeone. All d people i know who use mms and wanted 2 use wap had 2 cal glo several times b4 theirs started workin. So i stil find u guys claim impossible. @Aya i tried using d ip add u talked about and am glad 2 inform u dat it does not work.

when we did it was a few wks after glo announced mms. Obviously they didn't expect Nigerians to b dat intelligent but they were wrong. It was wen they got word that some ppl were using wap that they put a security system in place.
