Calvary Greetings.
I am a preacher with the Seed Harvest Ministry, and I will like to get advice from you.I believe the advice I
need is secular to some extent, but do have the patience to understand my intention.
A few year's ago I was in Liberia were I had established a little congregation where I preached
regularly, but the civil war escaleted and the church was converted to a hospital of sourghts. On one faith full
day three Liberia Soldiers came to me and left trunks of Money with me and swore to come back for it.When the
war in Liberia intensified I deposited this
box in a security vault ,I was escorted by the ECOMOG soliers who felt the content of the
trunks were documents and never cared to check the trunks,I was air lifted to England with other refugees
then,I stayed in England and when I was getting fraustrated I returned to Africa only to find out that two of
the three Soldiers died in Battle while the last was decleared MIA (Missing in Action). After thorough
investigation of the trunk boxes,i discovered that the three trunk boxes had a total amount of Seventeen
Million United States Dollars which was unknown to me from the very begining.Considering the fact that there
was no possiblility of the soldiers coming back for their funds, arrangements were immediately made to have the
funds deposited in a suspence account with a commercial bank in the Netherlands.I am interested in using a
small fraction of this money, much less than one percent for a re organisation of the work, but I do not need the
rest and do not want to have any direct dealing with it.but I need someone who will be able to use the fund
better maybe for charity or something universally profitable,I have thought of doing it myself but,my ministry
is the apocalypse and I believe and preach the soon coming
of the Lord which make me not indulgent in reliance on money or wealth in any form.I will be glad if you have
any interest in the direction of maybe managing or transmitting the fund as you prefer in your capacity and
understanding.please if you are interested,i would want you to
send me the following informations:
1.yourlegitimate name,
2.your contact address,
3.your phone number,
4.your fax number.
with all these informations,i will take it that you are interested and the funds will be ransferred to you in
provision of the above informations, and as such you will be the only one who can lay claims to the fund and
then,i will give you all the relevant information with which you can lay ckaims to the funds.before you can be
given full access to the account and you will promise me that you will use the fund for good deeds.I will be
glad to get a response from you to show your interest.
I am presently In the U.k{LONDON} where I am conducting a delverance service for cancer patient.
To futher throw more lights on the procedures and requirements involve In receiving this funds you can call me
on this number:+447040104779
Regards,
pastor william roberts

@Areafada, You are right, infact am going for glo now, not just because of the free txt, but cos now i have a Wap and GPRS enabled phone! How much is a Glo line?
Posted by OluYom
@angel: Between N800 and N1,000, depending on where you get it. Yippee!!
Posted by brix25
Hey AYA...that letter was hilarious...someone should teach these conmen proper grammar and sentence structure because they betrayed the fact that they never went beyond a certain level at school.
Posted by Angelgirl
@AYA, can Glo Pay as U go users connect to internet?
Posted by OluYom

No; Pay as you go can only access WAP. You have to get on a contract to be eligible for full internet
Posted by coolapostle
@Angel U will soon be one of us!!!! Yipee!
Posted by coolapostle
MTN Nigeria has 3.89 million subs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by OluYom
@coola: Just one? That's easy. My business site http://www.domainstandard.net has been making hundreds of thousands of naira since April 2003. We run EVERYTHING off that site, from new orders through support issues. As a matter of fact, we only advertise our services like once in 4 months now, since the site generates its own traffic now, such that new business comes in consistently on a weekly basis. Take a look

just a casual hi to all nigerian buddies. :-) with all the best regards from SE india.

@govi: Hi! Its been a while since we last ran into ourselves
Posted by ihejirika
Anothr thng I observd about Glo s tht their claim tht one can glo wherever one goes isnt a fluke. Its d only network tht has coverd entire length & breadth of Lagos-Benin-Onitsha express way to date.MTN's unbeatable coverage hs been beaten.

Problem is with the performance of their GPRS platform. It does not 'glo' everywhere. Actually, it can be irritating.
Posted by mamba
that's true, glo gprs isn't available in owerri and enugu.
I hope Mtel will be better.
Posted by OluYom
@ihe: With Mtel getting aboard the GPRS platform, Glo will stop bragging about being the only 2.5g network in Nigeria and get their GPRS working better.
Posted by ihejirika
Another thing about Glo is their Txt2Email/Email2Txt:This service allows u 2 send/receive emails via sms.Txt HELP to 3333 to start enjoyg this service.
Posted by coolapostle
@AYA Ok, a web hosting biz makes money eh? It should...as more ppl get on the web. Any other? I am trying to find a category that works. Web hosting does. Next?
Posted by OluYom
@coola: GoSmartMobile.com just took off last month, and we are yet to start the publicity drive, but when we do, I expect it to also start raking in some money too.
I must be candid with you, most Naija sites don't make money because the people behind those sites go about it the wrong way (I should know since I am in the industry). Unless there is a change of approach...
Posted by brym!
@Ihe, Welcome back!! Hope your monologue syndrone has been treated physically and spiritually?
Yeah, I miss the niteshift too.
Posted by OluYom
@brym!: See who is welcoming someone back. You sef, welcome back!
@coola: These sites are also making good money:
1. www.firstatlanticonline.net
2. www.shopforless.com
Posted by ihejirika
@brym,I think I'm more qualified 2 welcome u back.I underwent a long monologue treatment 2 emerge here.My doctor says I shld report regularly 4 check up after wch he 'ld b able 2 make any conclusion.
Posted by brym!

Just like Angel said a while back I'm just watching from the sidelines!!
Posted by ihejirika
Anothr truth about Glo is tht they hav more value addd servics thn any othr net 2 date.Tht includs gprs.I'm hopful about mtel gprs.If mtel does bettr,I wont hesitate 2 upgrade my mtel or is it Nitel line bcos mine stil bears Nitel as logo.
Posted by ihejirika
Nonetheless, another truth is tht Glo can do much better 4 themselves if they stop attaching "Glo to Glo" condition to all their free gifts. EXCELLENCE remains d key 4 determing my hotline at all times.I'll do it again & again.
Posted by OluYom
@ihe: Two posts in a row? Beware of flat tyres!
But I agree with you. For the moment, Glo outshines every other network in the area of value-added services. Did you know that their contract package used to have 20 free SMS each month, N10 for regular SMS to any network & N7.50 Glo to Glo SMS? I wonder what the new package will be. Hope its like 100 free SMS per month!
Posted by ihejirika
@Aya,tht 'll b a lovely one 4 contract package users.I prefer d 10 free "Glo to any network" sms to this mountain of 35 free "Glo to Glo"sms.Vmobile 12 free sms goes to any part of d world & still remains free.

But Vee chooses which SMS you send is free! Imagine that.
Posted by ihejirika
Aya wrote,"But Vee chooses which SMS you send is free!Imagine that". I dont understand.Monthly,1st 12 sms on Vmobile r free regardless of where/how they r sent.
Posted by OluYom
@ihe: My wife & sister both have consistently had experiences contrary to that. They send an SMS today, N15 is deducted. The next 2 SMSs is free, then the next one is billed. Its a random/selective free thing Vee seems to be doing.
Posted by ihejirika
@Aya,actually,Vmobile free sms was tht way when they started. They 'v shone some improvements in recent months.Right now,u can dial *456*2# send on any Vmobile 2 check its free sms balance.Any sms after d 1st 12 'll b billed wthout mercy.
Posted by OluYom
@ihe: The selective thing still happened last week. But, hey, it's Vee's cup of tea. If I were a Vee user & that happened to me, I would have harrased the living daylights out of them
Posted by ihejirika
@Aya,tho I'm no Vee sub,I'm sure tht I made use of up to 90 or more of their free sms in ths Feb alone.I didnt experienc selectiv billg in d course of doing so.All d same,Vmobile is in habit of announcg products whn they r not yet ready.
Posted by OluYom
@ihe: True.
BTW, where in cyber space is everyone else? Let's announce a party, and they'll all show up pronto!
Then someone will claim to have been "watching from behind the scenes".
Posted by ihejirika
Aya,now tht their names hav been mentioned,I expect them 2 live up 2 their words & show up b4 we conclude tht we have no spectators.
Posted by mamba
AYA pls how do you switch to contract glo and how much are they charging for calls, sms and wap. what's the method of payment and requirement. I'm considering switching to contract and would like to know all necessary details and cost. Pls reply promptly.
Posted by Angelgirl
Spectator no 1, present sirs! any better for me?
Posted by OluYom
@mamba: To switch to Optimiser on Glo contract requires:
1. N8,000 security deposit
2. N1,750 1st month access
3. Passport pix, ID, 3-month bank statement (savings or current acct)
Tarriffs:
glo to other net SMS: N10
glo to glo SMS: N7.50
calls to other net: as low as 44k ps
calls to glo: as low as 40k ps
GPRS (GloDirect): 60k pkb
@angel: nothing! Got your glo line yet?
