I just got into Lagos from Akure. I am spending the xmas with my Sis. Welcome back Dawny. U need atleast 2 hrs at a cybercafe to catch up. I was out for just 3 days and I am yet to finish what was posted! Some one asked abt GPRS in Akure.? None.

coola,I'v not been ther but know d gate fee per film is N1500 single,N2500 couples.Ther codes u dial on Vmobile line 2 know films 2 b shown & scheduled time.U can call Vmobile customer care for d code.

@brix25: Cinema culture ded decades ago. 2day ppl generally prefer to sit at home with Nollywood. Terrible films in d beginning but seem to be getting much better.

@remiavan, I buy @ Anjorin mkt Apapa. Though d dvds are pirated they are excellent copies. U can get originals from Megaplaza 4 about 3k each..@brix, the advent of the VCRs in d 80's killed the cinema culture here.

(!!) @All My Sis just bought a Startcomms line with free internet until January 13st, 2005. I helped her set it up and I am online like crazy in the next few days. WHILE WE ARE ON THE SUBJECT OF FILMS, lets hear the best/worst films U watched in 2004. I saw many TERRIBLE sequels: Alien Vs. Predator. Starship Troopers 2. Lion King 1.5. Especially when I am looking forward to it... they always dissappoint. Film of the year was: The Passion.
