the memory of k500i is 12mb is there any way of increasing it if so how can it be done is there any special device available so that a external flash memory card can be added to the phone

Not you can't do any of that.
It always baffles me why people ask this about every phone! It is what it is and you know what it is when you buy it. If you want more get a K700 or a P-series. But you can't have high end features at low end prices!

Welcome to Esato, hard luck mate, you can forget that. It is just the effect of coming to Esato that makes the k500 a small phone. It really is a great phone- you eventually will get the hang of it.
