Kay, don't expect much, but it though are tricks. When i want to put my ringtone at a higher volume, but i dont want anyone to hear that. Cuz everytime you put it one level higher it lets you hear an example of that volume automatically. But with the volume buttons at the side of the phone you can also adjust it in that menu without an sound example.

trick 2
when u hold 'c' (the delete button) on you desktop it will switch the silent mode on and off.

well, found that out, maybe you find it handy.

well, searched for em, and noone mentioned them before, so not old on this forum.

These features worked first in t28, so ca since 5-6 years.

i think we've pretty much exhausted the number of tricks available on the t6xx/z600 series!!

lol

What i never got, why se never mention them in the user manual.

thanks for refrshing my memory... the 'c' key will give 2 option 1. silent 2. keypad lock

Posted by BobaFett
@govigov but not at t6x0 series.

Posted by govigov
it just turns on silent?? that is more useful than the 2 options... i have the keypad lock on "options" anway....

Yup those are good ones, the "c-key" trick works on the p800 too, and if you hold the list/menu key (don't know what it's called, it's to the right of the C key) it automatically brings up the Applications menu. And if you hold down the "OK" key it says "no match found"! Cool! (Anyone know what that's supposed to be for?)

Posted by BobaFett
@govigov i miss the lock by pushing 'c'. Got used to it in the last years.

@boba
i never understood why things like this were never mentioned in the manuals, yet they waste paper and ink telling us not to drop the phone or put it in a bucket of water or try to set it on fire!
who are the people who need telling these things?
we need to know so if we see them we can shoot them!!

Posted by BobaFett
@nature indeed, they let us know in the manual a general knowledge of the fone, but these tricks are really useful and make the use easier, faster.
