Use google search for free pop3 emails, there are many of them. However it depends on your operator if u can rec and send aswell. Dont offer your one email add?

Softhome never worked for me, think it depends on operator aswell. The best solution is to get an acc directly from operator imo.

i have a p800 on 02 payngo genie, i think it mite b coz i didnt set it up properly coz it only gives u the intructions 2 set it up on computer email programs like outlook, but none for mobiles. can ne1 give me the instructions on how to set it up on my p800 plz

After lots of messing about i got my email to work on O2, I can now use any pop3 or IMAP4 account that I have tried.
You need to create a new data comm account with the following settings as the one you use for wap and mms won't work for email.
create a new data comm. account, call it what you like and use the following values. On my K700i you have to go back into the account and edit it once its set up to change the DNS address but i dont know about other phones.
APN - mobile.o2.co.uk
username - web
password - web
DNS address - 193.113.200.200
