Can thre DCU-11 be modified to be use as a syncstation?

Does anyone think that the DCU-11 can be modified to make it a DSS-20, and if so what additional electronics would be needed?

unlikely I'd say, and when you can buy a DSS-20 for 8.99 on ebay why take the risk with your phone?
