T28 - thinner, better quality on flip, buttons better.
T39 - better features, larger display.

@merovingian - I was looking for an Ericsson T28 back then also, until I saw some threads here mentioning how nice the T39m was, so I posted a looking for thing in one of the local tabloids here, and in just 4 day's time, 'got me a 2nd hand and very cheap US$ 39.14 Ericsson T39mc, though I replaced some worn out covers - front, frame and antenna to really make it look brand new, the original battery is still functioning 100% well - after serving the fone for 2 years and running now! Try accesssing the threads mate, so you can also see a side-by-side comparison thru images posted by @three x and @leks - really looks nice, 'saliva-dropping' posts I tell you !
@leks - Can you link the thread here for @merovingian, as I just don't know how to . . . Many thanks dude!

I saw one in a shop the other day...brand new for only 39€!! no strings attached, locked to vodafone, posibly with pay as u go sim-card.
I really wanted to by one the other day, but there really was no point.... nostalgia isnt reason enough
