@axxxr. What in d world is that? Looks more like a 2-way radio than a GSM/CDMA phone. :>

That was at the time the smallest GSM/CDMA handset in the world!..Was exactly the size of a Credit Card..In fact it was qouted at the time as the credit card mobile...won best innovation award back then,if my memory serves me correctly! ...I never actually owned one but a friend of mine did so i got to play around with it a few times...Way ahead of its time..Sony what can say but bravo!!

Im sure the MZ5 used a full size memory stick, if I remember correctly

you can tell from the pic, it does not have "duo" labeled on the stick like this:

so yea, the mz5 took regular memory sticks like this:

yep big stick it did...

MZ5's pop up on ebay now and then, and go for a fair price too

I had owned a Sony CM-DX-1000,it was my first mobile cell....had it for a year....then my ear piece had broked...it was so humble....

My first cell phone was the J5, I kinda regret selling it...
It was really ahead of its time, I specially liked the jog dial.

I agree, I slightly hated buying the J70, what I really wanted was a J5 it looked way better.

Just witnessed a fully boxed MZ5 go for £156 recently on eBay - not bad for an 8 year old phone. Obviously some people have more money than they know what to do with.
