has any1 found any new secrtes for the t68?
Posted by jhb
One thing that isn't known by everyone is what happens when you hold the joystick for a couple of seconds in a direction...
Left: first shortcut is selected. I use this to get a quick way to view the calendar.
Right: search in addressbook is selescted
Down/up: same as an ordinary move upwards and downwards

Thanks for the tip.
I found out that holding the joystick to the left takes you to the first shortcut in the sortcut list. I use this to easaliy start writing a new SMS.

Instead of using the joystick in the menu you also can use the Numbers for fast access to the diffrent menus ie. #1 will open the phonebook #2 Masseges #3 Calls #4 Games and background etc.

Another one I think I posted it somewhere in the forum is when you are reading SMS you can use (*) for Page Up and (#) for Page Down instead of scrolling line by line.

Just a quick 'thankyou' for bringing this to my attention. I text-message quite a lot, and being able to write a new message simply by holding my joystick to the left is a joy!

Nope, you're not alone I use it that way too. Usually I make the change by voice command but sometimes I remember to change it when I'm already in a conference or a college class, so I won't start yelling NORMAL or CONFERENCE.

Is this an old one,not a secret as such but while in wap press and hold joystick in for the options menu, saves taking your thumb off the joystick anyway :-) and long press 'no' button to exit wap,i only just noticed this one since my upgrade to r6a,b4 when i had r2e it wud half turn the phone off and the screen wud go dim.
Posted by XsuwailX
Yup, noticed that too! :-D
Posted by TheScorp
Probably old news, but test this with a T68
Enter Erix -> Press 123 when at the animated logo --> SNAKE!
Enter Ripple -> Press 4456 when at the animated logo --> CARDGAME!
Enter Q -> Press 3*5 when at the animated logo --> BRICKGAME!
And the developers have left you a little note
Enter Tetris -> Press 397 when at the animated logo --> MESSAGE!
Posted by lingodavid
Maybe all the good guys that put them cool secret games in the phones got fired since Ericsson had to let lot's of people go? If that's the case, hire them back!
Posted by vilkur
You should really try searching in esatoīs forums. every single "secret" listed above is either described in t68/t68i manual or have already been discussed long time ago. why waste the space?
and if you would look around here in esato a little you will propably find the reason why those crappy "secret games" were removed. good luck!

I think this is a very old trick but no one mention this...press and hold the c button and the standby menu will appear for turning on/off your keylock or silent menu. or u can press and hold the option menu for GPRS
Posted by ATTinSA
Well I don't know if this has been discovered before but the T68i saves unsaved numbers for you without asking. To access this feature you create or open an existing Phone Book Entry choose one of the number slots (Home, Work, Mobile) and when it asks you to enter the number click on the blue Menu button and choose option #3 Unsaved Nos. This will list you numbers you have not saved in your phone. (This may also come in handy if you need someone's Voicemail Password, BC it echos all the numbers that were entered). Let me know how it works out for you.

@m3 or anyone else
tried the colour boost code. what does it actually do?
Posted by vampyriaerotica
Cool....not sure if someone had post this already but here it goes:
=while in the phonebook, you can cut and paste in between different numbers just by pressing *1 to cut and scrool to the desire position and *3 to paste.
Very handy without having to delete and memorize to save for example a home number as the work number!

This is embarassing but when using your mobile phone after you have logged-in @esato,HOW DO YOU LOG OUT??:-( Or there's no need to do so. Please advice me.:-(Thanks in advance!:-)
